This smells really nice which was the main reason I bought it. I didn't expect this wash to help my acne and it didn't. Instead it just dried out my face really really badly--and I have oily skin normally! So Unless you have very oily skin, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

So I started using it like the instruction say, "twice a day" to get rid of some minor acne on my forehead and nose. However, around day 3 my skin started turning red and peeling like it was sunburn. At that point I started freaking out, so I stop using for 2 weeks and my skin started coming back to normal. I really WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN. Please don't buy it, it's a waste of money. However, if you do try it, be caution maybe only using one a day or once every two day.

this product completely dries out my face, not to mention make me break out even worse! before this i used aveeno clear complexion, but chose to try this because aveeno was a bit over priced. i'm definitely going back to aveeno. it might be a bit expensive, but it's definitely worth it. i HATE this cleanser! and hate's a strong word, but honestly neutrogena has truly disappointed me with this product. i will NEVER buy this again!

I have used Neutrogena Original, Naturals, and this Pink Grapefruit acne wash. I like this one the BEST. I have combination oily skin and it get very oily in my T-zone. When it gets oily and clogged I usually get acne on my forehead or chin area. This acne wash has work to clear my skin up. I also use Neutrogena's Anti- Stress toner with this. I think together they work very well.

The original formula in which is yellow, I used for years and out of no where it seemed to not work. Also, I love the smell of this one much better! The Naturals formula I have only bought about 2 bottles of and used up in the past. It didnt seem strong enough. I really wanted that one to work, because I try to use the best natural/organic products on my skin.

However, I have to stick with the pink grapefruit. I see a lot of people say that is dries the skin back. IDK about that, because I use a toner AND moisturizer after cleaning my face. SO, I strip it down of dirt and oil and then give it back what it needs.

It took me so long to review this product because I was still recovering from the most traumatizing experience with skin care in my life. I have pretty good skin except for the clogged pores and black heads. I read some reviews (not here obviously) that this helps with that. That was the first time I ever bought anything without checking reviews on MUA and it was the last trust me. I did check the reviews after purchasing and saw the terrible reaction everyone had, but I figured that since I've never been sensitive to anything that it would be fine. The first 3 days I used this, I loved it, I could skip my makeup remover because this removed everything and I especially rubbled it over my eyelids since I wore waterproof liner and mascara and it took it off easily. The only probs I had was that it was a little drying but that was no biggie to me. On the 4 day I woke up in the morning and felt a slight burning and itchiness after using but figured it was allergies or something, by the time I took of my makeup that night it was full on allergic dermatitis, my foundation just did a good job covering it up! I looked and felt sunburned, I had white and red bumps all over my face, the worst part was that it was on my eyelids, it's such thin skin there that it can't be rubbed like the rest of my face. My saving grace was that I had some prescription strength allergy meds from few mos ago and my Elizabeth Arden 8 hr cream. After the swelling and bumps finally went away after 3 days, my face was the driest ever, I normally have very oily skin. I had to use moisturizer a few times a day and it drank up the 8 hr cream like nothing and for anyone who has used that knows how thick it is. My skin was finally back to normal after 2 weeks and my eyelids took the longest. This was especially upsetting since I had pretty good skin to start with and this stuff destroyed my face.

Oh my dear God. No, just no. This is horrible. During the summer I tend to get tiny under the skin pimples with a few actual red/pop-able ones. I bought this on a whim thinking "hey, what harm can it do" and hoping it'd dry the suckers up and leave my face looking new. Turns out it can do lots of harm. I am not a sensitive skinned girl, nor prone to breaking out like crazy from a product. The only downfall to my skin is an oily T-zone and hyper pigmentation around my cheeks. This grapefruit crap ruined my skin for weeks. I used this faithfully for about a good week or so, it cleansed off my make-up thoroughly and left my face squeaky clean, but at a major cost. After that week, my face went to hell. I had horribly painful red splotches and dry patches. It was like my face was lit on fire with pimples and blisters to accompany. Anything I tried to use to sooth my poor face just made it feel worse. Even aloe. You mine as well compare this to pouring some-what diluted bleach all over you skin. It has no benefits except it strips your skin completely clean, which is actually a bad thing.

Visibly reduces my acne and leaves my face feeling & looking fresh and oil-free (I have oily skin). Best acne product I've used. Nice scent (grapefruit) and overall look to product. Would def. repurchase. continued >>

I've bought this facial cleanser a million times already. I can't resist. I guess it's that lovely grapefruit scent & pretty pink color that keeps me coming back. I have the worlds most sensitive skin, if you look at my face too hard a blemish will appear. I have to be aggressive with my facial cleansing regimen; I wash my face every morning & night & when I first decided to try this particular cleanser, it worked for me, it leaves my face refreshed & if I get a little soap in my mouth, it's ok because it actually has a pleasant little taste to it. It has real Grapefruit extracts in it so its natural & I just really like it, my go to cleanser. a definite repurchase :) continued >>

This product dried out my skin, made it extremly itchy and very red/ sunburt looking. I had heard good things about this product, but it didn't work for me. If you have sensitive/ acne-prone skin like me, do NOT buy this product.

Same sentiments as the reviewers below - if you are using it, stop. It causes you to breakout way way more. If I could give it zero lippies, I would. Same results with the orange one. However, if you don't like wasting money and throwing out a full product, here's a tip - I used the rest of it to clean makeup brushes I used for liquid foundation. Seriously, don't let the nice smell fool you - don't let this anywhere near your skin.
