Call me crazy, but I don't use this as a primer, but instead an under eye concealer. It doesn't work as an eye primer for me and creases, which is okay, because I've found an alternate use. It's pigmented enough that with two layers under my eyes, it covers my dark circles almost completely. And since it's a primer, it doesn't crease like regular concealers do. It's creamy and the tube hasn't separated like some other reviewers have said. I will totally buy this again, and on ebay they're super cheap! I got my tube for only eight dollars, ten dollars less than regular price. I wouldn't hesitate to pay full price. (:
My eyelids are really oily, so I have to wear a primer. However this primer doesn't seem to help because it still creases. It might be because of how oily my eyelids are, or maybe because I dont let it dry for a long time enough before applying the eyeliner/shadow over it. I think UDPP may still be better. It smells weird (like milky/curdy) and has a weird texture to it too, the oil in it separates from the beige part. I'm not sure why.
This is my first time using an eye shadow primer. I’ve noticed my eye shadow stays put, doesn’t crease & at night when it comes time to remove my eye makeup it feels like a shame as it looks as fresh as when I first applied it. I haven't used any other eye shadow primer to compare it to yet I'd not hesitate to repurchase. continued >>

LOVE this. I have a sample of the legendary UDPP but decided to buy TFSI off ASOS instead.
The eye primer glides smoothly across my eyelids, blending like a dream. Eyeshadow stays on ALL day, in beautiful vibrant colours. With a tube like this, I get the appropriate amount on my fingertips easily & it's hygienic & doesn't pump air into the tube.
Will definitely repurchase! continued >>
After reading insane amounts of reviews online about this primer, I decided to pick this one up after I ran out of my trusty HG primer UDPP (wand version). Sadly, I was very dissapointed.
When I first opened the tube, the substance that came out was a watery, oily brown mess. Nothing like the way the product is supposed to be. Suspecting i might have bought an old tube maybe? Anyhow, this stuff creases on my within a few hours, does not prolong the wear of eyeshadow on my eyes at all. I have tried applying a lot of it, and just a tiny bit, blending with a brush and with fingers, applying eyeshadow straight away and after it has hade time to dry down - and nothing helps. It just sucks.
I am Asian-American & reside in Florida (HUMID!), therefore, you can imagine that I have a big issue with eye makeup creasing. This product has resolved that! I apply it every morning before I apply my eyeshadow, and by the end of the day, it has not stopped doing its job. I have not noticed any creasing on my lids since I've used it; but I have noticed a little smudging in the outside corners/underneath my eyes - and it's probably b/c I forget to apply it there sometimes. The only other times I've noticed smudging is after I workout or after I accidentally fall asleep in my make-up (but that doesn't really count, and it's still only the outside corners/area underneath my eyes!) I'm never sure how much to apply though (I use a tiny drop on each lid), but my one tube has lasted over 6 months now (I use it 5-6 days a week depending on the days that I wear make-up/go out). I only reapply if I wash my face to reapply make-up. I have not tried another primer so I cannot compare this to any others, but this one does it's job so I have no complaints! The color of the primer blends in well, and also brings out the pigments in eyeshadows more :) continued >>
Love this product. Couldn't go a day without it. Makes your eye make up stay on all day. Colors pop out beautifully! I use it as a primer for my eyebrows as well. HG. This is one product that is so consistent that I don't see myself straying from or wondering about different primers. If it aint broke don't fix it....
I got this with my too faced palette and was pretty disappointed. Within a couple of hours, my eyeshadow had creased and melted off my eyelids. Even though I do have really oily eyelids I definitely expected something more. Especially since it's pretty expensive for less than half an ounce of product. Also, after a while, the product that comes out of the tube separates a little and expels an oily mess. Will not purchase... I'll just stick with my trusty urban decay potion primer.
I have dry eyelids, so creasing isn't really a problem for me, the only reason why I actually use primer is to intensify shadows and make them last longer. After years of using UDPP, I decided to try this, and I'm so glad I did! While UDPP works well enough, it tends to dry out after a couple of months, and become hard to blend. Also, some drier eyeshadows become nearly impossible to blend over it. Shadow Insurance is so much better! The texture is easier to spread over the lid, and shadows become easier to blend and stick to. The only problem is that some shadows will fade on the edges, which is why it doesn't get a perfect 5 stars.
