Adore this so much! This product caught my eye with the pink packaging. It smells almost like my favorite, Miss Dior Cherie. I apply this all over my body after i bathe, then spritz my Dior perfume on then apply my makeup, so my lotion has time to sink in :) Soap & Glory looks super cute on my vanity, and it is very cheap! I will buy again, of course.
This is one of my favourite body butter, like many other Soap & Glory products it just delivers what it said on the packet. Very moisturising but not sticky at all. Smells delicious too ^^
I LOVE this body butter! I first got this in the miniture version in a gift set, and after about 3 uses i was set on getting the huge tub aswell! I think the scent is so refreshing and delightful, and as with all S&G products the packaging is gorgeous!!!
The butter leaves your skin feeling so soft, is easily absorbed into my skin, and my skin does not feel greasy afterwards!
This is a very moisturizing body butter. However, it has a very, very strong fragrance that lingers all day long. It sort of smells like a stronger (more pungent) Miss Dior Cherie. Unfortunately, I find it overpowering if I use it all over. It can give me (and everyone around me) a major headache - it is definitely not a subtle fragrance. On that basis alone, I would not buy this again and when I do use it, it's only on one area of my body. Too bad, because it really does moisturize well. If you don't mind super strong fragrances, this might be something to try. It retails for approximately $14.99 at Target.
It is a little pricier than other ds brand body butters, thus the removal of one lippie, but there is a lot of product per unit so that definitely helps with the price. There, the negatives out of the way.
My frustration with a lot of body butters, high end and low end, is that they don't really melt into the skin and you feel this waxy, coated feeling. Not this stuff, it really melts into the skin. Also, I love the texture of this when I apply it, a very silky texture. Skin feels very soft and silky afterwards. And of course, I love the smell, sweet, feminine, fun. This is a great product when you want to pamper yourself. Also, although moisturizing, it has a light, silky enough texture that I think I'll be able to get away with using it during the summer time--though I'll probably reduce the amount used in warm weather. In a previous review of a S&G product, I mentioned that I thought S&G had the cute, retro-ish packaging of Benefit, without the regrettable Benefit prices. I'm especially convinced using Righteous Butter--packaging reminds of the vibe you get with Benefit's Bathina line, but way more affordable than Bathina and way more product offered per unit than Bathina.
I was really excited when the Soap and Glory line came to Target. I was already a huge fan of the Bliss line that Marcia Kilgore first came out with years ago. I like the feel and consistency of the body butter but the smell irks me to no end! The body scrub has the same scent to it whick make is hard for me to use. They scent does not linger too long but it smell chemically and cheap to me like it have a weird petrolum base to it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff! I received a gorgeous S&G beauty bag filled with their top products (incl. The Righteous Butter) for Christmas from UK and loved all of them but was disappointed when I ran out because I didn't know where I could get them here (Dubai).. then I found them in Boots! It was like Christmas all over again.. 8-))
The smell is fabulous and whilst I don't normally like sweet perfumes I do love this .. and it is incredibly feminine and girly, plus the fragrance really lasts if you layer with other products. I haven't used it on dry skin but on wet/damp skin it works incredibly well sinking right in.... and you don't need a lot (and I have very dry skin). I have the huge tub and expect it will last at least a couple of months.
To top it all off I love having this in the bathroom cos I LOVE the packaging, very quirky. I have nearly every product they sell for bath/body - it is my little bit of pampering every day.
Price-wise it is not the cheapest body butter on the market but still reasonable considering the size and how long it will last.. I paid Dhs70 / GBP12 for the 300ml tub.
i love this, i love soap and glorys body butters! my skin getts super irritated easily so i was a little afraid but it smelled so good. i tried it and i love it! it dosent bother my skin it smells wonderful with out being to strong and the scent lasts all day pretty much. it feels great, easy to get out what you need goes on nice not thick or oily. the packageing and price are great for the product.
I got the travel size, and even that is lasting forever! It smells just like Miss Dior Cherie, so it's perfect for layering. This body butter is so silky smooth, makes my skin slightly glossy(NOT oily though) and moisturizes! I am deff. going to buy the full size
I bought this and a whole load of other goodies from Soap & Glory because of the rave reviews I've read of it. Surprisingly, this really does live up to the hype. The smell is absolutely gorgeous, however it is certain to be a little too sweet for some. It strongly reminds me of candy, as do most of the Soap & Glory range.
It is very light, which is surprising considering it's supposedly a body butter, which are usually heavy and thick. It soaks in by itself without having to rub it in too vigorously. It makes my skin soft, smooth and smelling fantastic.
One thing I should mention is that this product works so much better on damp skin, I first tried it on dry skin and wasn't much impressed. However, when I used it again later in the shower it had a much better effect.
