I was suprised to see all the negative reviews for this product. I love this stuff. I puts so much moisture in your hair and does not weigh it down.
This stuff doesn't condition, smells horrid and where is the supposed moisture? I can't believe I spent $50 on a tube of this. One of the worst leave-in's on the market IMO. Also the metal tube is a rip off because 1/3 of the product won't squeeze out of it.
I have very dry and brittle hair and Phyto 7 didn't make enough of a difference. My husband and daughter both use Phyto 7 very successfully but I moved on to Phyto 9. I use it every day on wet or dry hair and it really makes it soft and more manageable. I like it better than all the silicon based products I've tried. Another plus is that it doesn't have an overpowering sweet scent like most leave-in hair products do.
I guess this product does what it says- my hair was soft, a bit of shine, and definitely not grease-slickish. It did not make my ends look smooth and frizz-free like yucky silicone products can though. But for nice conditioning that does not weigh the hair down, it works.
This is an Okay product but it is not all that. The price is too high. It does the job somewhat in treating the dry hair and making it more manageable, but so are other cheaper products in the market. I am using it because I cannot return it. I should have continued using my L'Oreal Intense-Smooth Vive Cream. The price of L'Oreal cream is 1/3 of this product and it does a way better job.
Not hydrating enough and WAY too expensive.
I have dry brittle coarse curly gross hair with split ends.
Oh and dyed to boot!
I have tried so many products on my hair over the years (I am 35)
This is the ONLY hair product that has become my HG! I use a rinse out conditioner in the shower AND then work this into my hair when wet. I use this to make any frizzy spots look silky after my hair is dry. I dont wash my hair everyday but I do use a little of this working it into my dry hair each morning. I LOVE THIS STUFF!
HG product. Metal tube is not ideal (it tends to crack as I use the product) but the product itself is amazing. I have color treated waist length hair that tends to tangle easily and get frizzy. No more! I use a good amount on wet hair (1/2 tsp), air dry, and then a small dab. My hair soaks it up. I also put on a bit before braiding for the night. It makes my hair soft, shiny, and virtually tangle free. From reading the other reviews, I think your feelings about this depend on your hairtype. For those who love frequent deep conditioners (I use mine at every wash) and need something really moisturizing, this could be it for you.
I tried Phyto 7 and liked it but then read about Phyto 9. Wow, this stuff is great for my hair. I've been using it about two weeks and my hair is softer and more manageable. I have chemically relaxed hair so I need as much help as I can get. Will definitely repurchase. Got it on eBay and didn't pay full price. Very nice item.
Phyto 9 Botanical Hydrating Cream for very dry hair, porous hair. 9 special plant ingredients soften, hydrate and strengthen hair when used daily. Or at least that is what the packaging claims. this is actually an allright product. I must say that i have stick straight very healthy hair so this product isnt designed for me. It worked well, kept away frizzies and no split ends. However this worked just as well as my Redken AntiSnap which is alot cheaper so i will stick with that. Didnt weight my hair down and no scent. It also comes in a small metal type tube with 1.7oz and retails for $22. Way too expensive but i would recommend that people with dry hair try this.
