I wasn't sure if I was going to like this lipstick (not a matte lip kinda girl) but I find myself wanting to wear it all the time! The color is a light peachy pink that leans more pink and is fairly bright. It really lights up my face without looking too unnatural. I personally like it best with a gloss over top, but it's definitely wearable on it's own. Since it's matte, the formula isn't the most moisturizing, so definitely use a balm underneath. If you apply it thickly, it will emphasize lines, but since it's very pigmented, you can get away with a thin layer. The packaging is cute, but since you can't swivel it down all the way, you may nick it on the cap til you use up the first centimeter or so. I also think they give you a fairly generous amount of product. There's no scents or flavors I can detect, so that's a plus. At less than 2 bucks a pop, these are a steal! If you love peachy pink lips, this is your guy. Even if you don't like matte finishes, different glosses can really shift the color of this in many ways. I give it 4 stars! If it were a little more moisturizing and the packaging were better, it'd be an easy 5.
Not a fan. Reminded me of the consistency of concealer and very drying. I put it in a jar and mixed with some vaseline to make it more wearable IMO.
I wanted to like this product because previous reviews have been so positive, but it just didn't work out for me. I liked the color--a very opaque light pinky-peach. However, the formula is terrible. Even after I've primed my lips, the lipstick still emphasizes all the lines on my lips. It's the worse matte formula I've tried.
This color is more pink than peachy but besides color, the consistency is GREAT. pigmentation and price is wonderful. True to the color of the tube.
Amazing color and lipstick, one of the top three drugstore lippies, BUT the packaging ruins the lipstick because you cannot twist it all the way down, but will buy again!
Update-have to bump it down to a 3 cuz the color is more pink coral not really as peachy as I thought in the initial lighting. also the texture is not the best
Colorwise, this is one of the all time most flattering color on me, totally HG status. It is a matte, creamy peach with a hint of pink. I am just so in love with this, looks so super good against my warm NC30 skin. This would be a great nude for some one w/ dark skin. The texture is matte and opaque and I love that. I goes on sort of dry and I smear it around with my fingers to get it all even and it stays matte, dry and lasts pretty well. It does highlight dry parts but its not too bad. I heard good things about these l/s but judging by the packaging, almost couldn't bring myself to buy one but now I will go back and buy lots!
This is what I wanted Revlon's colorburst in soft nude to be like... This looks great with my warm skin tone! I haven't a problem with the packaging, so I'll be sure to be careful.
#1 Yes it does last a long time. Its a matte, drier formula lipstick so it adheres really well to the lips, and doesnt have any slip in the product where it would rub off easily. It even lasts through eating & drinking. It has a bit of a micro-sheen but it dries down & as the lipstick wears off it looks really matte. Its intensely pigmented, a little goes a long way. The down side is because its a dry formula it tends to show up lip lines. This did not feather at all, and stayed put within my natural lip line. Even if you have soft, exfoliated lips, this gets in the creases as it wears off. I def recommend using a lipgloss or product on top. The color is like an old school 1950s bombshell light peachy/coral with some pink undertones. It looks like a nude/pink your lips but better shade in the tube, but its more of the color I described on your actual lips, and is surpsingly very vivid. For the price, I think it was $2.99 or $1.99 def worth a try. This was one of the more natural colors in the collection. This would be a great product to use in place of lip stain. As your gloss etc wears off this color would last underneath. I would buy this again. It lasted for hours, & I used the tiniest amount,so these things will last forever.
It's a $2.99 lipstick. If the name was on the package, we'd all pay a little extra for it. It costs less to label them with numbers. The name is on the outer plastic, and says "Just Peachy". I don't like that some of them fall out of the tube, but the texture is so matte that at least it can be put back on the tube and doesn't make a mess. I've had my lipstick tubes knicked a little because they aren't completely inside the tube. It really doesn't bother me. No one is going to pay attention to my lipstick unless it's on my lips. I love this matte shade of peach. It is absolutely peach on my lips. Full coverage matte. I press my lips together after applying it to even out the lipstick. Applying any more just makes it really thick on your lips. I have 3 other shades, but so far this is my favorite. A perfect Summer lipstick.
this is great lipstick for it's price. on my lip this is more natural looking peach with nude undertone. it's my everyday lipstick since i bought it. i also like the think pink, but this is more suitable for my yellow skin-tone. i like it b/c it's shimmer free and matte as it says. only thing i don't like about is the packaging b/c my lipstick fell from it's packaging.
