Amazing product! Although, as we can see by some rewievs, it does not work for everyone. I've noticed significant difference just after one use. My skin looked smoother, pores less visible and the skin was well hydrated. More you use it, the better effect you'r gonna get. Obviously, providing you look after yourself in other ways at the same time. If you smoke like mad, have bad diet or do not drink enough of water, then do not expect any skin product to make a difference to your skin. Also, some people forget, that serum must be followed by a moisturizer. If you will not do this, the result will be just opposite. And it's best to be followed by the same company product, like Time Zone, otherwise, do not be suprised and do not complain about breakouts. All in all, it is great product that really works miracles.

Really, I do not understand the hype for this product. First I used a whole bottle of the concentrate, with no results. Afterwards, because of all the HG messages, I decided to give the 50ml bottle of the original serum a try. I did not see any improvement whatsoever. Waste of money.

The reason why people have been finding the product effective for only a couple of weeks is because of the packaging.
The serum is housed in a weighty and substantial, but translucent glass bottle. This is where Estee Lauder goes wrong. When light interacts with many of the active ingredients, they soon become null and useless. To counteract this, I keep my bottle in the box and try to apply it in the dark as much as I can. The concentrated version of this serum has an opaque packaging, which i think is much better for storage.
The serum itself is very hydrating. It didn't break me out, although I've heard reports of it doing that. It's not worked any miracles yet, but my skin feels so much better when I use it, and it appears to be a little bit brighter. A bit expensive, but by no means the most expensive skincare out there.

Amazing! I used this product after my Laser resurfacing treatment, it helped my skin sooo much, It does repair the skin overnight. I don't use it regularly, but my mom does and she loves it! I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Love, love, love.
It is expensive but worth it. I am in my mid 30's with oily/ combo skin with occasional breakouts, and I find this stuff really helps with skin texture.

Advanced NIght Repair is AMAZING!!! I'm in my early to mid 30s and have always had acne. No matter what I did, I'd break out, and it would take ages to get a blemish to clear and heal...until this stuff. I forgot to pack moisturizer when I went home one week in the spring, and my mom had samples of this lying around, so I decided to try them. The first night, it healed every bump on my face. I've now been using it six months, and while I can't say it prevents blemishes, I get them far less often, and on that rare occasion that I do get one, I dab a little benzoyl peroxide on it and then put this on my face, and it is completely gone by morning. Additionally, my skin looks brighter and smoother with this and feels firmer. I don't have much in the way of lines and wrinkles, so I can't really speak to weather or not it is helping with that, but I'd have to imagine that it does. And yeah, it's super expensive at $52 for a 1-ounce bottle, but it lasts forever. You only have to use five drops at the most, and honestly, I've found that anything more feels a bit sticky and takes a little while to dry. I usually use about four drops, and I'm a big girl, so some women may find less works, too.

I first tried the deluxe sample size then swapped for a full size. When I was using this, my skin did have improved smooth texture and hydration. I was also using a Renee Rouleau cream (Hawaiian Nourishing Cream) and this combination was working really well for my skin - I received several compliments on how glowy and healthy my skin looked, and I credit that to this Estee Lauder serum and the Renee Rouleau cream. However, I haven't been able to repurchase it because it is so expensive, so I'm not using it anymore...maybe one day.
As for the ingredients - it has some antioxidants and hydrating ingredients like sodium hyaluronate, plus caffeine - but the second main ingredient, bifida ferment lysate I'm not familar with...supposedly it's skin conditioning and promotes skin repair..well I believe them because this serum is effective :)

I received a sample size bottle of this and have just purchased the 50ml bottle as I love it so much! It has lasted for ages as you only need to use a tiny amount each night. I put it on before my moisturiser and it gives skin an instant glow which lasts even the next day. My skin feels instantly plumper, smoother and I have seen a huge reduction in my acne scarring and other red marks/blemishes. The only reason I haven't given this product a 5 is because I am yet to seen any change in fine lines/wrinkles but this isnt really my main requirement!

This is by far the WORST skincare product i have EVER used which has seriously damaged my skin. i wish i had never bought it. I read everyones positive reviews so decided to give it a go as i have some pretty bad wrinkles and ageing going on. People warn you that it may break you out at first but persevere, which i did. i persevered for 4 months to the point where my face was covered in spots! i have always had dry skin and never suffered with spots but this stuff made me look like a spotty teenager again! The worst of it was that the spots left horrific scars all over my face which im now left with. i had to run to Clinique who reccommended an amazing anti blemish range to eliminate the spots but the scarring remains. i wish i had never gone anywhere near this horrible stuff...its ruined my fac

This was my very first serum. It dramatically changed and smoothed the texture of my skin. Never irritated my skin or was the cause of a breakout.

This product is heavenly. An overnight miracle in a dropper. I use 3 drops, I find that is plenty to give me that coveted, promised, 'well rested' look. It evens tone (fades old scars and takes down redness) and leaves my skin baby soft when I use in conjunction with my regular moisturiser (no7 protect & perfect day). I'm acne prone and find this reduces breakouts and actually heals any existing spots quicker.
It is eyewateringly expensive, hence 1 lippie off, but the results are so worth it and you don't need much. I'll keep buying until it stops working. continued >>

Very good for dry climates or skin types. Helps to keep the skin well-hydrated and perks up the skin. The pump is also convenient for application. The texture is runny but absorbs well and fast. But it is very pricey unless you get the 100ml version from the DFS stores. A product I would keep for winter time.

There is a reason that this has been around for thirty years and won numerous awards. I am 24 and have sensitive blemish prone dry skin. I use this under my moisturizer every night and it does wonders for my skin. It help it heal, heals blemishes and it keeps my skin plump and not flaky and dry. I love it!

Great product for moisturizing skin, especially if you're acne prone. I started out with 5 visible lines on my forehead, and by the end of the first bottle was down to 3. I use it morning and night. Won't cause breakouts like some other anti-aging products do.
This is a serum meant to be used under moisturizer. You do have to use a moisturizer over this... on its own, probably won't do much for you.

Bought this on a whim at Duty Free leaving Tokyo.
Skin was angry in strange places from travel, lack of sleep, so much awesome food,
and very few, ahem, bowel movements as a result. Yep, that'll kill pretty much any pretty complexion!
SO embarked on massive diet clean up, more sleep obviously, and a little more aggressive with my BP 2.5% gel I use as usual.
ADDED this serum at night (not with the BP as that turned my face orange somehow)
and during the day, too.
It's not brutally sunny here in southern west BC so sun is not an issue at present.
I have noticed a HUGE improvement in my skin tone, clarity, resilience, vitality and glow, and over-all clear-zit-free-ness.
my forehead is slowly clearing (the acne was non-productive, just tons of bumps)
my usual trouble spots and scarred spots around mouth and right cheek look way better and I find I am using VERY LITTLE of my MAC concealer and very minimal anything else. Just a bit of powder on my nose and maybe t-zone mid-day.
I think I love this serum. It is pretty nice entirely on its own.
I found I like it BETTER with no other moisturizer over it, maybe a dab on my dehydrated spots and that's it. I am thinking a super light spf over this is going to be my only regimen as we cruise into summer.
Sure it cost a god damn fortune. But I kept track of every penny I spent on skincare last year when I was having a really tough time with my finicky, hormonal, and sad skin, plus trying to find an spf I could tolerate, and well, what a huge waste.
I will buy this liquid gold any day.
And final note re ingredients: these are not half bad and some of them make perfect sense, no retarded, science-spoof 'stem cell' BS or other such nonsense.
To those who abhor the ingredients as being useless, I must say there has been an intervention by God then, because this has made a major positive impact on my skin in three weeks. Will definitely watch and see now, because it may change, but i doubt it. I have had absolutely NO breakout from this serum anywhere. As I said above, skin is actually clearer, less congested, and best of all, this did not irritate, like many healing serums and vitamin treatments do, have, and scare me.

I cannot recommend this product enough! I've been through several bottles of this over the years and have recently purchased another bottle after a hiatus of different products - because I never found anything better. My skin is combination and prone to break out depending on what products I use. ANR has never broken me out, in fact it seems to clear up my skin even helping pigmentation scars disappear! It's also quite hydrating, without that sticky or oily feeling and I wake up with fresh and nourished skin every morning. Have to admit, the serum is quite pricey, but personally, I think it's worth every cent.

I'm turning 30 years old this year and have been using anti-aging products religiously for the past 2 years. After having a baby, my skin has changed significantly (dark spots started appearing, fine lines forming around my eyes and forehead, pores getting larger, etc). My natural beauty days are gone!! Anyways, after trying out several different anti-aging serums and creams (both US and Asian brands), I've found that the Estee Lauder ANR serum has helped improve my skin the most. It seems to help fade any old scars that I have and heals any new ones that I get from breaking out. It's also very hydrating and my skin just looks better after using this product. This will be my go-to serum for anti-aging from now on!! I like it soooooo much better than the Kiehls Midnight Recover Concentrate (which seems to just sit on top of my skin).

I started using Estee Lauder Night Repair 25 years ago. What it does is more than just something over a couple weeks. It has a long range effect. People think I'm 20 years younger than I am and I believe using night repair has kept my skin in good condition through the years. I really would recommend it to younger women to use each night and it will pay off in the long run. It repairs damage from everyday toxins and free radicals our skin comes in contact with. It is expensive, however, it does last for quite some time. It is one of the best investments I've made for my skin.

I have a sample of this that I've been using for 2 weeks and I'm considering buying the full size. So far it hasn't done much to repair my under eyes from another serum I was using, but in the morning my skin looks so smooth and bright. I read somewhere that "consumers could be mistaking the waxy feel of it for nutrition", but I like how my skin looks and feels after use. I'm hoping that this is a keeper in my anti-aging arsenal.
