About the smell : This products smell is exactly the same smell that Origins Dr Weils plantidote products have.. It does disapear fast though..

I didnt like it at first, but after giving it some tries, it is actually one of my favorite Sisley products- I even like it better than Sisley Line reducer...

High % of active ingre. so you might exprerience that your skin has to adapt to it.. My skin needed 3days of use before it accepted it.

UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!!!!!
Dont waste your money on this!!
After years of buying the most expensive creams and serums in the world, I tell you:
Nivea Cream (the one in the blue tin can) in the european version is the best cream!!
Try DIY C-vitamin serum also.

Nice product, it works so well for me...bought it in the duty free shop and only needs a drop for the whole face every night. the pores look smaller and reduced lines in the following morning. every expensive but worth the money!

The Night Complex from Sisley really helped with de-congesting my skin and returning it to a clearer, brighter, more supple condition. I applied it for ten days according to the instruction and love the effect. Don't overapply though (not that you would with such a high price tag attached anyway). Obviously it's pretty expensive but unlike many products that promise to help wih spots etc., this actually works! doesn't irritate, does what it promises, great stuff

Beauty doesn't come easy on the nose, as I've had the (mis?)fortune of discovering. Botanical Night Complex smells like Hong Kong foot that has been cooped up in stinky wet socks for a week and then warmed for good measure. If you can get beyond the repugnant pong, your skin will reap the benefits of this 10-nights-a-month intensive treatment. A treasure trove (don't let the el cheapo, plasticky bottle put you off!) rich in hops (regenerates and stimulates), horsetail (restores minerals and improves skin tone), white lily (anti-pigmentation and exfoliating action), centella asiatica (boosts collagen production and heals), and essential oils of chamomile, rosemary and sage, this evil-smelling concoction is exactly what my lethargic old skin needs for a jolting kickstart. Once the odious emulsion has been tapped into the skin and penetrates, it works its magic clearing, unclogging, firming and regenerating tired skin cells. Sisley positions Night Complex as a detoxifying treatment, but I'd like to think of it as a plumber, really. It burrows deep down to the source of subcutaneous distress and fatigue, paving the way to a significantly eager and receptive response (to the benefits of other skincare, and even makeup). I see distinctly visible results in the morning when my skin looks so plumped and radiant I am almost blinded by the sheer dazzle of it. Gorgeous when you desire skin that springs back buoyantly when poked and a natural luster that is almost surreal. At SGD$328 for a 30ml bottle, beauty doesn't come cheap, or particularly fluffy to the touch (sticky with a capital S, yikes!!!). I don't give a hoot it's labelled as exceptionally active; I liberally douse my eye area with it because it's THAT GOOD and I don't wish to deprive that needy area with this miracle sustenance. Where Night Complex is concerned, I have adopted the classic stance of no-pain-no-gain.

Truly amazing and addictive serum! I decided that my skin needed a little detox and finaly purchased it. I use it as one month therapy for my skin after using Intensive Night Cream for 10 months or so. Results this far (2 weeks of use): clear, bright skin, less breakouts (I get some when I skip a night or two, so it's not a permanent solution). I find that Night Complex works best when used under Intensive Night Cream, because alone it isn't moisturizing enough, but together with INC I wake up with almost perfect skin color/texture. I still think that the effect will disappear when I stop using it as it is with everything skin care, it not a miracle cure or radical wonder worker, so don't get your expectations too high, it won't rewind years, lift sagging skin or whatever bulls*** the SA tries to tell you... It's just a serum/treatment for de-energised and tired skin, not surgery/dermo.

Sisley is not for the faint of heart, and especially not this product. This is not for Sisley beginners, for you people who just started venturing into Sisley, please start with cleaners, toners and emulsion ecologique first before you start using intensive essential oil treatments like this one.

Sisley Botanical Night Complex is an intensive reparative programme meant to be used 10 nights a month. It is a deeply purifying, detoxifying and reparative treatment that gives your skin a makeover. Essential oils are natural carrier agents that deliver nutrients and nourishment to your skin. Botanical Night Complex is composed of various plant extracts ch as horsetail, hops and centella asiatica. Horsetail has been used since Roman times to encourage healing and stop bleeding. This product is especially great for people with probleams with broken capillaries (those little red swirly lines you see on your face sometimes if you have thin thin skin) as this plant encouraging bleeding and therefore treat the root of the problem with broken capillaries in skin. Horsetail is also rich in silicic acids, which increases formation of collagen = firmer skin. Centella Asiatica does the same thing, promoting healing and improves blood circulation, as well as activating collagen production. Botanical Night Complex also contains essential oils like rosemary, sage and camomile. They are great purifying and anti-inflammatory agents; they help "purge" skin and maintain clarity in skin condition and ease congestion in skin.

After cleansing, toning and serums (if you wish), you take a pump or two of this, and PAT it onto your skin. And by now you should realize that this smells like stinky socks. The scent disappears after a minute or two, it might feel a little sticky at first, but your skin should absorbs it within 2-3 minutes. Unless your skin feels tight or dry, there is no need for another moisturizer on top, as this complex hydrates the skin as well. After using this for 3 months, I notice that my skin is much firmer, skin tone is a lot more fresher, radiant and even, and pore size has decreased as well. I highly reccommend this for anyone whose skin is accustomed to essential oils or other Sisley products. Again, with Sisley, you NEED to follow instructions. DO NOT use this every night, 10 nights a month only, and a little goes a long way.

You see, I also don't get people who complain about Sisley's prices, skincare is very much YMMV. When you walk into a Sisley counter, you KNOW the range of prices for the products, it's really no surprise there. If there is one thing Sisley is known for, is producing beautiful, functional but insanely expensive products, and like everything else, some people think it's worth it, some don't.

When first applied creates a slightly tingling, burning sensation on the skin, so beware not to apply it too close to your eyes. The skin Does look firmer and more radiant the morning after! Had no problems with breakouts from this product. The scent may be slightly funny, however, this doesen't bother me since it is a rather faint and quickly fading 'natural' smell which imo is By Far preferable to all these yucky artificial and overpowering scents that are frequently used in other cosmetic products.
Update: after using this product for about the 5th time, as adviced once a month for 10 successive days, the positive effects described above have all and completely disappeared, now i have NO effect from this product anymore. Seems the skin is quickly tired-out from these ingrediences and doesnt respond anymore.
