I had big hopes with this lotion because KP is such a terrible thing to have (at least for me) and I was deseperate. No big changes for me. I ended up buying a salt scrub and my KP is nearly gone. Its made by Alba and I'd recommend it over KP Duty anyday.
This stuff does work. I have KP. I always have, but I didn't know what it was until a couple years ago. I found out about the DermaDoctor products and purchased my tube from Sephora. It's been a while. I used it regularly at first, and then just stopped using it. I generally just don't take the time to lotion up after a shower. My KP was starting to get bad again, because of winter and my pregnancy, and it was making me really self-conscience so I broke out my tube of KP Duty and slathered it on. The redness disappears almost immediately. It is tacky, as mentioned in other reviews. I have VERY sensitive skin, and I've never had a burning feeling from this, although others' reactions are probably from the alpha hydroxy acid in the product. I would recommend this product to anyone with KP if they could afford it. It IS expensive, and I likely won't be repurchasing when I run out because of that, but once I can afford it again, I will probably get the whole KP Duty line. Until then, I'll switch to something cheaper.
This product really works! I started using it right before my wedding, even though i do not have keratosis pilaris I used to apply it twice a day and it made my skin extremely soft, got rid of the little bumps on my back and upper arm and the moisture would last almost all day. My husband even commented on how my skin is always soft!
The only drawback is the price! Buying this once a month is such a financial commitment!

wow! skin is sooooooo moisturized and smooth and NOO KP!! expensive but SOOO WORTH EVERY PENNY
I have normal skin (with milk KP on my upper arms and legs) and this moisturizer has made my skin so soft! It soaks right into skin and does NOT leave an oily or sticky feeling on skin. I use this right after my shower and reapply it again midday. I have normal skin and didn't experience any reaction to this moisutrizer as others have had.
I bought this at Sephora. Their return policy is awesome, so if you have an allergic reaction (people with sensitive skin might want to apply a small amount to test it) just send it back.
I have very sensitive very dry eczema skin. Maybe my skin is just worse than everyone elses but this product was terrible for me. It does moisturize but it burned like all hell when I put it on, which really doesn't help my already irritated skin. I avoided putting this on at all costs... I even gave it to my sister who has normal, even oily prone skin, and she still said that it burned when she put it on.
I will never never buy this again... especially not for the price.
UPDATE: It seems that some people have MAJOR reactions to this cream. I can only imagine there is something in it that causes bad allergies in some. In light of this, it would be a good idea to do a patch test on a small area and buy from a retailer that accepts used returns. Although I have not had any bad reaction, or burning or itching or anything, my SO tried it and it burned his arms horribly! I will continue to use because it is the best thing I've discovered for my KP.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Surprised at the negatives! I LOVE this stuff. I admit my KP (mostly on arms) is in the moderate range, not extreme at all, but still I've tried many other things and nothing else has worked. I saw a difference in 3 applications with this cream, seriously!! It helps mostly with the bumps, but it doesn't really help with the redness. I apply about a 1/2 squeeze (maybe a dime size?) per arm.
I plan on trying the KP scrub too as I've heard amazing things, but this cream is certainly a keeper and I will buy it over and over again! You need to be sure to either keep the area covered or apply a very good sunscreen because there are ingredients that will cause photosensitivity. There is no cure for KP that I know of, but this cream is definitely helping me to manage mine.

Ive had KP on my upper arms forever and HATED it with a passion. I saw this online and wanted it SO badly (I was in grad school and broke as a joke) but I finally splurged and got it. Did absolutely nothing for me. Ver disappointing
This is a must-have product for this gardener who hates to wear gloves. I don't have keratosis pilaris, but my hands get chapped and raw, and my body gets rough spots on elbows, knees, and heels. This moisturizer instantly soothes any irritation and it makes my skin feel supple and silky. I buy this in huge sizes to make sure it's always around. I can't stand the greasy feel of most moisturizers, so KP's light, easily absorbed formula is exactly what I want and need.
This has given me better results wih my KP than anything prescribed by a dermatologist. It is a little pricey, and it is a little tacky, but it seems everything used to treat KP is. In conjunction with the KP scrub it has left my arms sooooo much smoother. The only other lotion that helps is Amalactin which can be bought in your local drug store such as CVS. I am a DERMAdoctor fan, it might burn a little, it might not smell like flowers, but it's not some fluffy product. IT WORKS!
