I went on a whim with this foundation and have to stay I like it a lot. I'd say it's close to MUFE Foundation but cheaper by like $5-8 and I think it works just as well! It's a little watery but still thick enough to have medium coverage though I think you can build it. The smell is alright nothing great, a little does go a long way.

The packaging is nice and I'm glad it has a easy pump to take out product. I'm not sure if it's the best foundation yet but it's been okay on my skin. Have a tiny breakout here and there but I think that's how my skin is in general.

For color reference I'm like a C4 and use the 5.5 in Naked Skin.

There seem to be 2 reviews on this foundation, so I wanted to add this review here as well because I am truly in love with this foundation.

I recently switched from wearing mineral makeup which stopped looking good on me for various reasons. On my search for the perfect foundation, I have literally tried about 6 different liquid foundations in the last week....MAC, Shesiedo, Lancome, Stila, Dior, etc. I was actually pretty happy and almost settled on Stila's Correct and Perfect but I did notice some oxidation after about 2-3 hours of wear. I kept it but the SA told me about Urban Decay's Naked skin foundation. Well, I have had the unfortunate experience my entire life in getting suckered into buying a foundation I didn't come in to try on in the first place only to be disappointed every time. This time, however, the SA was sooooo right on. This makeup IS amazing. It DOES cover. It DOES match. This is a great foundation so far.

PROS:
-First of all, if you like the dewy look, this is not for you. This is quite matte, but has a slight glow (not as matte as Lancome Teinte Idole or ELDW). I for one, like that look and don't like looking oily as "glowy" foundations tend to look on me. I use Clarins Every Day Multi active moisturizer which gives me a nice glow. I also brighten up my cheeks with some NARS bronzer and/or Tarte Blush to add more definition. I guess one could also use some primer, but I don't like adding another product.
-Color selection is quite amazing. I am normally a NC25, but in the summer a NC30+. I was matched to Shade 4.0. It seemed to be the right shade but the wrong tone! It was really green on me as this shade was meant for people with olive undertones. I thought going up to shade 5.0 (medium with slight golden undertones) would be way too dark but it isn't at all. This color sinks into my skin and just matches quite perfectly to my tanned skin (would not be able to wear this shade in the winter though.....)
-Oh this stuff is SO blendable and it covers EVERYTHING. First I moisturize. Then I place a little foundation on the back of my hand and take my MAC stippling brush to dip the foundation and then I start blending. Give it a minute and it sinks into skin. Best of all? I have not used ANY concealer at all with this stuff. This is a miracle for me as that's all I used with mineral makeup. Now, I do not place this near my eyes however. I guess I should back up and say that I don't need concealer at all for my superficial acne marks, but I do place a little brightener/concealer under my eyes and try to avoid foundation in that area that would accentuate fine lines.
-Don't get that oily look with this stuff.
-Comes with a pump! Always a bonus.

CONS:
-Since it is more on the matte side, it does sometimes tend to stick to dry spots as the day wears on. I have mixed a tiny bit of argan oil into my moisturizer before putting on this foundation and it seems to help a little bit. Nothing like with the Dior foundation though.
-The price. But you get what you pay for right? And a little does go a long way, so I am not really looking at it as a CON, especially when some of the other foundations I tried were about $20 more.
-Staying power seems to be ok. I would say 6-7 hours? I would have to reapply if I wanted a fresh face look to go out after wearing it all day.

So far no break outs. In fact, I feel like it "dries" out any existing acne that I do have. I will update if this causes any irritation of breakouts. LOVE this foundation. Too early to say if it's HG, but it's looking pretty probable.

UPDATE: I noticed that this doesn't wear as long as I'd like and it does cause a little skin congestion, but people have taken notice to my skin. Even when I tried to buy Dior Flawless, the SA at Sephora said "why would you change foundations? What you're wearing looks awesome! It blends perfectly into your skin!" So that cemented it in stone for me. I still think there is a little color difference between my face and neck, but it matches perfectly with the rest of my tanned body right now. So in the sun, it's noticeable......inside this looks awesome. So happy with this and I think I will stop straying for now and end my foundation search for the time being.

One last thing.....I tried different ways of applying this foundation and I even bought the optical blur brush by UD and it did NOT work. That brush just moved the foundation and caused it to streak. The best application is with a stippling brush, as I mentioned above.....I use MAC.

I had heard great things about this product so I gave it a try. Luckily instead of buying it first, I went to Sephora and got two samples of their two darkest shades (11 & 12). I tried each on one half of my face and neither was quite right. 11 was just a little to light gave off an ashy cast and the other was just a little two dark. Finally I mixed the two and got my perfect shade. I really like the look and feel of this foundation since I HATE having the "I'm wearing foundation" feeling. It's very light and offers minimal coverage, which for me is a good thing. Unfortunately until UD comes out with an 11.5 shade I will not purchase this since I refuse to spend 80.00 on foundation. I gave the packaging quality a one because I've read a LOT of other reviews about this foundation leaking out of the top.

I dont know y anyone would write a bad review aboutv this stuff, it is my HG Foundation, and ive been on the hunt for a VERY long time. I've tried most recently NARS glow foundation (colors r waaay too yellow based but coverage & texture is AMAZING) Kat Von Dee (excellent coverage but again very limited color selection & way too orangey) lancome teint idole 24 he wear (great color selection & great coverage & great staying power but a little too matte finish & drying) lancome teint miracle (which is an excellent foundation if u like light coverage & are on the dryer side, leaves your skin w a healthy glow...as a matter offact before I discovered naked I was mixing 1 pump of teint miracle w 1 pump of teint idole ultra & it was a perfect blend that had staying power, good coverage, a dewy healthy looking finish & did not make my face all greasy & oily looking after a couple hrs...oh did I mention I have really oil skin? I just could not justify spending 90.00 on 2 bottles of foundation just to get the right results, there's sooooo many others I've tried as well but this one takes the cake by far, I'm even willing to sacrafice some coverage just because I love it so much & it is buildable but u need to apply w fingers & just pat it on areas that need a little more coverage, don't rub on... big no no...all in all I set it w the urban decay razor shard HD finishing powder and VIOLA! couldn't ask for better healthier looking skin...oh & did I mentiont that is actually great for your skin as well w added ingredients for anti-aging that will work over time to actually improve the look of your skin...I absolutely love this stuff! continued >>

I was very excited to try this foundation. Shade 3.0 was a perfect match for my NC25-30 skin and the satiny finish looked very nice. I am very oily and this did not make me oilier. The problems I had with this were: it didn't last at all, is not buildable coverage and if you try to build it streaks, it sort of sticks to dry skin flakes and any and all blemishes, and has a paleness to it that I can't really describe.. What I liked about it was the finish and that it didn't become greasy, but at the end of every day I wore it, I would have new blemishes. :( So, I switched to another product and my skin cleared up in 2 days.. Also, although not a deal-breaker, the pump will leak all over the place if you turn it over in your makeup bag, and why on earth is the bottle so HUGE with only 1 ounce of product in it??

Now I tried this product to the truest and fullest extent. Not only did myself and all the girls I work with at a cosmetic store have trouble finding the right shade for mine and everyone else's skin tones. The shade range is very off. The colors seem to be for more cool tones and darker skinned people. Stay away from this product if you have oily skin, although it claims it is semi- matte, it's so not. I would put this on at around nine o'clock in the morning and by one o'clock it was completely patchy and sliding off my face even when put with a good quality primer and setting powder and or setting spray like urban decay's setting spray such as over nighter and de- slick setting sprays. I tried this product for so long because I wanted to love it but it has no coverage quality and isn't build able what so ever. It dries on your face the second you putt on and I even bought the good karma optical blurring brush that you're supposed to use to apply this foundation which only made the foundation streak more on my face than with my fingers and if you try and put a second layer on with the optical blurring brush, it truly just wipes the first layer off and basically swishes the foundation around your face that was first stayed put, and ends up all in the brush. That brush is also one of the worst
Iquid foundation brushes I had ever worked with compared to the ones I use now such ad YSL's liquid foundation brush and Chanel foundation brush # 6.

I thought I loved this foundation, I got a sample from Sephora and ended up purchasing a bottle. The shade match was great and and it was not as expensive as a lot of other foundations. This is not a foundation to get if you are looking for full coverage, this is a step above a tinted moisturizer I would say. The finish was nice, very skin like and not cakey at all. The only problem I had was it only last between 3-4 hours. I have oily skin and this foundation just slid off my face no matter which primers and powders I used. This is a great everyday foundation, very natural looking and not at all heavy. I really wish it had more staying power but I ended up returning it and continued my search for the elusive HG foundation.

Almost my HG foundation. Love the color. Love the packaging. Love that this covers my pores! Love the scent, or lack thereof. Love love LOVE that it does not break me out!!! Love almost everything about this except for the fact that I cannot for the life of me prevent this from creasing in my chin under my lower lip and around the sides of my nose. Everywhere else it is great all day including the huge pores on my nose itself. So maybe you fellow MA users can help me. I am using MUFE HD Microperfecting primer and LORAC Porefection Baked Perfecting powder. I have had some mild but not 100% success with UD setting sprays. Ugh. I would give it 5 lippies if it didn't crease up.

First review on MUA.

I have used Armani, cle de peau, cover mark,MUFE, I think this is my HG foundation.

It makes your skin look better. No gross shimmer, doesn't settle into lines, your skin will look air brushed.

It really deserves a five star in my opinion. Good products are plenty, but a great one is very hard to come by.

This is up there with my cle de peau concealer, bobbi brown expresso liner and clarisonic brush.
