Do not put more salt into your bath than directed. It can kill you. Literally, your body can go into shock and you can die in your bathtub. It doesn't take too long and you won't feel it. It will feel like you're getting tired or "euphoric", extreme relaxation.I love it, but I feel obligated to warn people since some comment that they put "a lot" for a certain effect.

Really appreciate what this does for plain bath water. Baths are much more relaxing, and . . . floaty. I add lots/cupfuls for a more sedating effect. Quite soporific, actually. I also make sure to drink lots of water afterwards.

Dirt cheap, effective, great results. What else could I ask for? I add this to my baths when I have a cold, any aches or pains, or just to relax! It helps relax my tense muscles, calm me down, and get a boost of magnesium (which many of us are lacking!).

Yes, yes, and yes.I toss a couple cups into a hot bath to help with muscle aches and pains, cramps, and sore tired muscles from working out. It's great for when you're sick or just stressed out and need to unwind. It doesn't smell like anything or leave any kind of residue on the skin. It doesn't irritate or alter my skin at all and I have really sensitive skin. Epsom salt is also great at killing bacteria and infections. If you've got a red, hot inflamed hangnail or cut yourself with a dirty knife, soak your wound in hot water with a sprinkle of Epsom salt to kill off nasty germs and speed up healing time. Plus it's cheap! I love it!

I can't live without Epsom Salts. After a long weight lifting workout, I just pour myself a bath and pour the Epsom Salt in the warm water and I just soak in it for 20 minutes. All my aches, pains, muscle, joint point is gone afterwards. It's as if the salt just vacuums all the pains and aches from my body. I feel terrific afterwards, the feeling is like I just rested for 3 days in bed on a pile of soft feathers and clouds. That's how amazing I feel afterwards. I agree with the poster that EVERY bathroom should have this!

Best thing since sliced bread. So many benefits. And so cheap. Also...Ive been using the Equate (walmart) brand of lavender Epsom salts and it smells soooo good and literally, no joke, after bathing with this my whole bathroom smells like this deliciousness for like THREE days afterwards. Ill be outside the bathroom days later and wonder "wtf smells so good?". And then realize its my grubby bathtub which is in need of scrubbing

Amazing for the body, mind, and soul. Epsom salt soothes and calms. Just pour a cup or two in a warm bath and relax! From your skin to aches and pains to just needing a break from thinking, this really helps so much. It's like soaking away the day in the ocean. My skin always looks and feels so healthy afterwards, and I feel so relaxed inside. I would call this one of the best beauty secrets. It just helps you maintain an overall happy feeling- inside and out.

WARNING: My review discusses the vaginal area & women's health issues. If you're easily insulted or offended, do not read my review of this product.I do not sugarcoat details & sensitive people may be uncomfortable with it.Managing my personal & feminine hygiene is important. Epsom salt baths are a powerful & effective home remedy for vaginal discomforts—discharge, odor, irritation, redness, swelling, itching, burning, sores, etc. I use the baths as a natural remedy for yeast infections. It helps with symptoms (itching & discharge) & while it kills the yeast infection. To treat & cure them, I take a bath in nothing but the Epsom salt. I use two big handfuls, mix it in the warm water with my hand, & let it completely dissolve. I sit & soak for twenty minutes twice a day, for three or four days. In half a week, the infections & symptoms are mostly, if not totally, gone. To keep natural/normal discharge & odor as a minimum is basically the same thing, but I don't get in a bath. I simply soak "down there" in warm water with a spoonful or two of salts since it cleanses naturally. I'd definitely recommend it for whatever issue you have whether or not it be the same as mine!

I love everything about this Epsom Salt Bath. It helps relieve muscle/joint pain, releases toxins, heals cuts and bruises and is great for soaking your feet after a long day.My mother has arthritis and as soon as she tried the Epsom Salt Bath she felt instant relief and her muscles were relaxed. I told her to move her joints and sretch after the bath as her muscles were relaxed. She will continue to do this bath about 2 - 3 times a week. I add 1 - 2 cups of Epsom Salt into a hot tub of water and add about a tea spoon of baby oil and the results are amazing.
