This review is for the Vitamin C Eye Serum which Perricone changed the name recently. This is .5 bottle of liquidy serum with a eyedropper. I dont use the eye dropper, I touch the tip with my index finger and just spread it onto my eye orbital area. The concept is similar to Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair liquid serum. I received this in a set with the Eye Lift cream. I have only used this is for a week with the Eye Lift cream and now I'm a firm believer of using eye serums with eye cream. It really makes a difference when it comes to the potency of ingredients (similar to using face serum then face cream)- but this serum is for the eye. When I put this on, it is very cooling liquid, it de-puffs quite well, my eyes feel relaxed. Alot of cooling sensation in eye products usually makes me teary eyed but this is mild enough to not cause that. This is non-oily formula absorbs quickly and does not break me out. I was actually recommended to use this by a SA at sephora because I told her most eye creams break me out she told me to try serums or gel based eye creams- smart thought. Anyway, the price is extremely ridiculous, luckily I had a gift card bought this in a kit. I wouldnt buy this individually for $95. But I may get it ebay. I will update later of the results.

Last week, I went shopping at my local TJ Maxx to pick up a few last minute gifts and stocking stuffers. The place was an absolute MADHOUSE, which is how I ended trying this product. You see, I did NOT purchase it, but somehow, in the chaos, the cashier ended up throwing it in one of my bags. I'm very happy she did. Had she not, I would have never tried the stuff. Yes, I have an anti-Perricone bias. For the most part, although I have found some useful information in his books, I find his products to be both over-hyped and over-priced. Not so here.
After using this for about a week, I'm prepared to say that it is one of the best eye products I've ever used, although I say that with a few caveats. If you have dry skin, you cannot use this solo, but will need to use an eye cream over it. This is a wonderfully effective treatment product, but it isn't a moisturizer. It comes in a .5oz amber bottle with an eye dropper. Not wasting it is a challenge, since it has the consistency of water. I've found the best approach is to put a couple of drops in my cupped palm, apply it to one eye, and then repeat the process with the other.
After such a short time of twice a day use, the skin around my eyes is smoother, firmer, and brighter. I can't wait to see the effect after I've used it for a month!
