Lighting for eyes is the older lunasol palette series. (Sorry I can't remember exactly when this released.) The christmas coffret 2007 re-release two new shades in this series consisting gold lighting and silver pink lighting. The christmas coffret is limited though.

The permanent series contains Icy (smoky grey-blue), soft (smoky pink), neutral (brown), and khaki (smoky purple-grey). The palette contains semi-matte light tone for all over lid, Semi-matte dark tone, black with shimmers (similar to nars ninght series) to create smoky look, and one super glittery eyeshadow (similar to RMK metallic series). It comes with 3 sponge applicators and one brush applicator similar to other lunasol palette. the compact is lunasol golden one with fine mirror inside. Unlike skin modelling and scent-form eyes, lighting eyes series is harder to manipulate with one super chucky glittery shade tending to fall after applying and the texture is not smooth.

What I have since soft which contains very pale pink, beige pink, dark puple-ish black with pink and violet shimmers and glittery white-silver. It gives pretty good smoky looks once you apply carefully. Again, I do not like the glittery shade as it's too chuncky and the texture is not good comparing with other lunasol eyeshadows and it's hard to apply. So I guess I 'll avoid this series.

Pix can be seen in my profile.
