After years of searching, I have finally found a face sunscreen that I don't mind wearing! I live in Honolulu, where the sun is always shining, so I try to wear sunscreen on my face and neck every day, even if I'm just going to school or work. My dermatologist recommended this brand to me, and I'm so happy I found it.
This product is perfect for me - It's slightly tinted, but it blends perfectly into my medium skin and doesn't look orange or pink (I have golden undertones). I have combination skin that's acne-prone in the T-zone, and this sunscreen doesn't make me break out. It helps even out my skin tone so I don't have to use so much foundation or powder - I can even wear it alone with some concealer if I'm just going grocery shopping. I love that it's fast-absorbing and not greasy, and has almost no fragrance, just a light scent that goes away quickly. I do get a little greasy in the T-zone towards the middle/end of the day, but it's nothing an oil blotter sheet can't fix.
This product is a little thick, so when I apply it to my neck I like to mix it with my Elta MD Clear SPF 40, which is a little thinner and spreads more easily.
It is pricey, but I've been using it every day for the last 3 months and I'm not even halfway done with the tube - you really only need to use a large pea sized amount for your whole face. I think I'd be willing to pay more for this product just because it's a high SPF sunscreen I actually like!

This stuff is amazeballs. Generally speaking, anything with "moisturizer" or "sunscreen" in the name is a recipe for breakouts for me. This is SPF 40 and moisturizing... and it does NOT break me out at all. It looks white when you first put it on but that fades away in a few minutes. Doesn't make me greasy either. Not sure if on its own it is going to be quite enough moisture for the winter especially since I am on tretinoin now, but it was definitely enough moisture solo in the summer.

I love this sunscreen. I didn't know and care much about the importance of SS before I used this. It's the first SS I use religiously pretty much every time I go outside. It doesn't break me out. It's light and very moisturizing, and I don't think it leaves any white residues. That's all I ask in a SS.
It's quite a bit pricey, though.
However, I'll continue to purchase because it does a good job for what a SS is supposed to do :)

I have repurchased this item more than once but I still only gave it a 4 rating opposed to 5 because I can't use this year round. If I was to use this in the very hot humid days here it would'nt last, it would melt and slide off my face. It is more of a cosmetic/skincare moisturizer to me, I have normal to dry to skin...leaning much dryer in the winter and that's when I use it most. I actually do use use it in cooler days in the fall/spring when I know it will not melt off yet when I am outdoors still quite a bit. My foundation weather it be a mineral powder or a liquid has never been an issue when using this. Sometimes I add a little bit of my DDF Sun Enhancing SPF 30 with it because at times it can be a little whitening...but very little when compared to most. It claims on the box " Light Daily Moisturizer with Sunscreen UVA/UBB Protection Transparent Zinc Oxide 9% Sheer Moisturizing Facial Sunscreen", I have agree that it is a sheer, light moisturizing sunscreen.

I agree with all the raves for this sunscreen. I have gone through countless bottles of it over the years and will continue to buy it. I don't find it at all greasy under foundation and while it is pricey, it is worth it. It doesn't sting my eyes like so many other sunscreens do. I don't love the bottle because, as someone else mentioned, it is hard to get the last bit out so I save the cap that comes with the bottle. When I am near the end I pull out the pump, put the cap on and store the bottle upside down to help get that last amount of product out. I find it is too expensive to use all over my body so I only use it on my face and neck and buy the cheaper brands to cover the rest of me when I need it. It might show up with a whitish cast on those with darker complexions but I am fair so this is not a problem for me. One bottle probably lasts me four to six months.

I love this sunscreen/daily moisturizer. I just melts into your skin with no white residue and leaves a nice hydrated finish. Makeup just glides right on. I have sensitive rosacea prone skin and I've had no breakouts. My only complaint would be the design of the bottle. It is a pump and when it is empty there is no way to open it and scoop out any remaining product that could be leftover. Other than that it really is a great ss.

I've only had this sunscreen for a couple of days, so it's still early. However, so far this is THE BEST facial moisturizer with sunscreen that I have tried. I have pretty normal skin and cannot stand the feel of a greasy sunscreen on my face. I have been known to run home to wash my face and start over with a different sunscreenif the one I put on in the morning feels too heavy or greasy. On the other hand, I also despite the tightness and dryness which some other sunscreens cause. So I'm hard to please. This sunscreen feels like a perfect, light moisturizer. It does not feel like sunscreen at all. No white cast at all, either, but I'm fairly pale so maybe it would show on someone darker. I'll update if any thing changes, but so far, so good.
Oh, the packaging is fine so far. I did read reviews on another site where someone had bought 2 of these and couldn't get the pump to work. She unscrewed the tops and found that there was no tube to carry the sunscreen from the bottle into the top pump. She threw away 2 full bottles for this reason. Please note that this bottle uses a vacuum pump so there is no tube to carry the product. You just pump the top and this creates a vacuum which sucks the product up through the pump. So far mine works fine. Don't throw away your bottle just because there is no tube - there's not supposed to be one :)

I have found this sunscreen to be one of the best for my face. I just purchased my second tube. It's sheer, lightweight and doesn't leave a white mask on my face. It's moisturizing, which is exactly what I want at my age (53). It might be too much for oiler skins. I mix it with a Lancome tinted moisturizer and use it daily.. rain or shine. No breakouts... Doesn't sting my eyes.. No fragrance. I have been using it throughout the winter and into the spring. I will change back to my Shiseido for the summer, mostly because it's more water-resistant than this one.

I like that this sunscreen has stable protection, is zinc oxide-based, and is fragrance free. What I don't like, however, is that it can be a bit whitening, and it is very greasy, which makes it difficult to apply an adequate amount for good protection. Yet despite being greasy, it isn't really moisturizing. It's rather strange. Also, it contains polyacrylamide, which I try to avoid since there are studies that strongly suggest that it is a carcinogen. Overall, this product does not come close to my favorite Shiseido SPF 55 Lotion.
