Mi-spa has handmade rice soaps. I never tired rice soaps before and I am used to using the drugstore brands made of talc. I ordered Bamboo Charcoal and used it on my face even though the site didn't put this soap as a "face only" soap. Site said soap may...: "It can effectively cleanse and whiten your skin, unclogging pores, removing impurities and dead skin cells from the top layer of the skin."
When I got the soap, it came in a plastic sealed bag and the soap is kind of small for a single $7.50, 4 oz soap. It feels weird compare to the talc soap, the talc soap from drugstores are always hard but this rice soap was soft but not that soft that it would leave a fingerprint. After using for some months I would say, don't use it if you have acne problems. I noticed I have been getting black and whiteheads on my face. The "whiten your skin", I noticed some of my brown spot did fade but it was still there, this is not a magic product. It does clean the skin and that is all. The soap does smell very lemony. The soap is black with white marble strips in it and the shape of the soap is not cut like a finish product, one of the ends of the soap looks broken off, just like the picture in the website. Be sure to clean the sink after using the soap because it leave a light gray puddle.
