This is a recently release from which Maquillage extends its face powder collection, from its previously niche point makeup products to base powders. This is a pressed powder which only comes in one shade - a sheer pale yellow similar to the Maquillage Bright Up base. I was expecting some sheer shimmer but the finish is completely matte. Coverage is sheer and suits my NC30 skintone well as I have some redness and strong yellow undertones. It stays on the skin better than the Lunasol Powdery Foundation and does not change colour by the end of the day. It has the effect of smoothing the skin but not to a spectacular extent, actually I think my Sofina Raycious Ray Contrast powder has more coverage. It is a rather pricey palette, since it is such a small size and has very little effect other than to provide a decent finish.
Update 01/2008 - after using it again on clean fresh skin, I am liking it more. It has a nice illuminating effect on even skin tones, still not a powder that will work wonders with problem skin. Very moderate lasting power, especially with oilier skins.
