Age: 19-24 Skin: Very Dry, Tan, Not Sure Hair: Brunette, Other, Other Eyes: Brown

When my skin first started to become dry, it went into an overhaul. It suddenly became hypersensitive to everything. My whole life it had always been between normal and combination, at times even oil, so I had never had any products for dry, or sensitive skin. All of a sudden I needed to go out and buy (in a hurry) products for skin that I had never had before.

Finding a cleanser is probably the biggest challenge. I still have yet to find one that I can settle on. But in the beginning when my skin was so irritated that I could hardly stnad to touch it, I still needed something to clean away the imourities, so I looked for a cleansing milk. I found at Sally Beauty Supply Gena Skin Spa's gentle soymilk cleanser. Lots of women who use microdermabrasion go to this line for their skin care needs, as well as those who do not, so that is why I figured my skin would probably be safe with this type of cleanser.

Well, I can say it was very gentle. It was one of the few things that didn't make my por red, dry, irritated blotchy skin worse. It was almost like using lotion, and even made the water when it hit my face feel better. But I didn't feel like it really cleaned all that well. In fact, I felt as if I needed some sort of cleanser after *it* as it did leave a residue after a while, but I was too scared to use anything else on my face, so I waited to use the whole bottle up before trying anything else.

I would say that this is good for if your skin is in an emergency state. I would trust this product on skin that is even broken. But I would not reccomend it for really removing dirt or makeup or even lots of oil. It is most definitely for dry skin.

It was also quite pricey, and that was a discount beauty supply store where I bought mine, so you might want to be prudent where you get it, and determine if you really need it or not. I know I would really only use it in a state of emergency. However, some people will use Cetaphil or other skin cleansers for when their skin is having a touph time, which I don't like, because the ingredients after will do you more harm than good; this cleanser is like my own Cetaphil, just a lot more money, and the ingredients are impeccable.

No scent or color, so you know you are getting something that is definitely free of any irritants.
