The blemish balm is expensive for a small bottle, but a little goes a looooong way. I bought mine 4 months ago and I'm still using it! I use a tiny amount on damp fingers and dab it on. It provides great coverage for redness - but if you don't a zit or anything to cover, it's too much makeup.

I've tried a couple BB Creams including the Missha Watery, the BRTC Jasmine, L'egere, Coogi 3Action Flowertox, and the Gowoonsesang Hydra Intensive. Then I tried this original BB cream by Dr. Schrammek. Of the ones I've tried, this one absolutely does not break me out and does not make my ultra-sensitive skin tingle. At the end of the day my skin looks calm and happy. I was really liking the Gowoonsesang, and I'll continue to use that, but I think I am leaning towards this one more. Great product!

I went ahead and gave this a five although it has a medicinal smell that seems to fade as time goes on but my fiancee doesn't like the smell o_O.
It is small for the price. I have not used it long, but so far so good!
Oh and I got the "mocca" color, the darkest one available, and it looks a bit too dark for my NC 42 skin tone, a little grayish and oily looking when first applied, but I let it sink in for about 10 minutes and then use a couple of blot sheets and it looks wonderful! But if you are any darker then NC 42, then you may need to apply a light dusting of powder. I may need to do that in the summer, I tan VERY easily.
UPDATE: Okay i had to stop using this stuff because it's very hard to remove even with cleansing oil and this stuff SMELLS really pharmaceutical. My bf commented on it too and I felt bad kissing him with that paint on my face!

Though expensive, this product is WONDERFUL and cannot rave about it enough!
My skin is fair/combo/sensitive/acne prone and does a wonderful job on my skin. Though not a foundation, its tinted formula helps to even out my skin tone and works very well under my foundation to accomplish this (I use BareMinerals). My skin is in so much better condition and find I do not break out as much. When my hormones are in flux, it seems to calm down acne that might develop.
This sounds strange, but I hate it after I wash my face in the evening and my skin looks like a disaster after the makeup comes off. Thanks to its tinted quality I do not look like a wreck and its helping my skin at the same time.
I will say that it is not going to clear up cystic acne, but it does help to soothe it and dampen some of its redness.
*****Update 06/10/09: Recently, I purchased Dr. Schrammek's Gel Super Purifiant and it has made a huge difference in my skin. First, I wash my face with CeraVe, then use the Purificant, and then apply Blemish Balm after rinsing off the Purificant. My hormonal acne is just about gone! I was feeling a cystic pimple forming a few days before the Purificant arrived. Fortunately, it arrived in enough time and helped stop the pimple from forming and it is gone (took only 2 days to go away). I think both products work well together and they are part of Schrammek's "Regulating Care" product line, which makes sense.

i've been using this for months and this product is amazing. can be used as a spot treatment or all over; i usually dab on to the spots where i need it, or use a thin layer as a makeup base. works great either way. covers redness amazingly and can be layered if more coverage is needed.
they now have more shades available and would definitely recommend this to anyone who has trouble with acne/redness. a HG product for me!

I agree, this product is the best! I use it as my daily makeup, it conceals redness and heals blemishes faster then using all the other products i tried. I love the shade classic but if i tan in summer I am honey but it is darker. It is hard to find from a good seller though. Not many local places have it, but I tried to pay less on a website but they did not have a phone # or salon and the product looked different then normal, so i could not return it.....i think it was old but whenever i buy it from theskinspecialist.com it is fresh and arrives quickly. Plus if you email them they tell you of sales and coupons. Right now is I got one for valentines day! I love this product, but i imagine the price is high for some people, yet i feel a little goes a long way.

Its still early to say whether I like this product, as I've been using it for maybe 2-3 weeks. In lieu of using this blemish balm, I've started using retin-a and another moisturiser that can cause purging. So I have lots of acne on my face right now which can be caused by a number of reasons so I cant say whether this blemish balm is breaking me out, though I dont use it all over my face- just on problematics areas.
As Daniela has said, I dont really know how to classify this blemish balm- it says on the box that its a treatment/makeup primer, the balm is quite thick yet spreadable. I bought the original shade, as the honey one might be a bit to dark on me, but the original one is leaving a slight beigey pink cast on my face but it melts into my own shading in about an hours time. It doesnt really cover my acne nor red marks- although for really faint marks, it does cover it slightly- so it is very sheer unless you apply another layer on but as it contains beeswax, I didnt want to put on too much of the balm.
It doesnt leave a matte finish either for those with v oily skin, you definately need to some other kind of oil control. I have combo skin and need to blot my face once a day depending on the weather but since using this balm, I need to blot twice or three times a day.
I bought this balm through a website based in the US and it was very expensive- more than $60USD and its only a 30ml tube. And if you were to use it everyday all over the face then I think you can finish the tube quite easily and quickly. I did find it on ebay and some other german website, but the price difference is only slight.
I dont think I will repurchase this balm as I cant see any major differences since usage and that I've ordered a bunch of other blemish balms to try- which are more cheaper than Dr Schrammek. However, if none of them are suitable for me, I will defiantely go back to this one.

This is the best EVER primer corrector spot treatment or anything you can call it for problematic zone on the face or even used as a tinted moisturizer to cover and treat blemishes and spots .It was recommended to me mounts ago from Mua’er here sassyomikami and I amazingly thank her because I never stop buying this product from then…is so useful. I used or as a spot treatment at night applying it on the spot and approve so much because in the morning the spots appear so much smaller and nearly death...or as a day tinted moisturizer and is sooooo good. This product NEVER EVER Break me out even oposit make my skin clear out so good Its soothing, masking, antimicrobial properties alleviate redness and irritation and promote a return to normal skin function i really don't know how i didn't review it by now. Also it’s come in 2 colors Blemish Balm (very light beige ) and Blemish Balm Honey (deep beige ) ..So I absolutely recommend this
