I bought this in France this past summer. I wanted to try it for my face because I have liked Eucerin products in the past, and I do well with Tinosorb sunscreens (this has tinosorb). First disappointment: when I spoke with Beethovengirl, she thinks that in spite of the high spf, this sunscreen only has a ppd of around 10. But if it was really great, this wouldn't be too bad. Second disappointment: it has such a white tint!! The whiteness of Avene's sunscreens doesn't bother me at all, but I look pretty ghostly in this, and I'm pale. It's hard to spread and shiny. Since I use mineral makeup, this doesn't usually bother me until about 8 hours into the day. I will stick with Avene's sunscreens, since even the newer formulations seem better to me. This one does say highly water resistant, so I guess I'll wear it on my body in Mexico later this fall.
