Love how this scent mixes with my body chemistry. I tried it years ago when it first came out at a Sephora, and I have been hooked ever since. It is fairly strong, as others mention, so I only spritz it once on my neck. I think one of my favorite things about this fragrance is how often I get compliments on it. I've had everyone from a cashier at a grocery store to a fellow student in a class to another shopper in a store stop me to beg me for the name of what I'm wearing. Only big regret is that it's been discontinued (in the states?) and it's impossible to find. Thank god for the internet, I guess, because I can't live without my Elle!

I love this. It's my current favourite, and it must be good because I've used it more than I've used any other perfume in the past. It's not too strong and heady, and doesn't give me a headache like some of them. I first tried it when a salesgirl sprayed it on me in the airport duty free. I resisted the temptation to buy it (and they did have it on a good offer), but I liked it so much once it was on that I ended up buying it on holiday, and had to pay more. I must admit that I haven't had lots of obvious compliments when I wear it (as I have done with Clinique Aromatics and my Kenzo one - perhaps it is more subtle), but I love it, and anyone who has smelt it straight from the bottle, has said how lovely it is.

I love this product, unlike some fragrances it actually smells nice on me. The key is to use sparingly so I only spray once otherwise its an overkill and people start running from you ;-)
I use it on a daily basis but I'm also a fan of heavier fragrances such as Angel, Alien and Chanel No 5 etc.
I've had my bottle for quite some time and it is still going strong so good value for money too. Mind you, I was pretty cranky when I went online and found a website called Fresh that had it for half the price of what I paid originally, grrr.....!
If you like light fragrances then this won't be for you but I personally love it :-)

This is definitely my favourite evening fragrance, I love it! It is woody and spicy but sufficiently floral to sweeten it up a little and make it more feminine. As it is quite heavy I rarely wear it in the daytime, and I prefer to use it as a winter fragrance. The staying power is great, it lasts for hours. And as a bonus the bottle looks so pretty in my room! I will repurchase forever.

yuck! smells sticky icky sweet with a dirtyness underneath, almost a cigarrette smell. and i love patchouli! but this is gross. it has peony and patchouli, btw

This perfume was given to me by a friend who did not like it. I happen to like this scent a lot. Like the other reviewers have said, it is a strong, spicy, warm, musky, wintery, night-out, sexy scent. It's not suitable for anyone younger than 18 as it can be a bit mature. I love this for special occaisions or in the winter when it's very cold (it doesn't seem too bold then). I get complimented by men all the time when I wear this.
I wasn't sure on the pricing, since I did not buy this for myself. However, I looked online at YSL website and it can be almost $100! Ladies, to be honest, unless you can snag it for less than 60, it's probably not worth it.

ii FOUND THIS BEAUTIFUL PERFUME, when i was out shoping one day and sprited some on, i kept noticeing this gorgeous smell, spicy but feminine as well. fell in love with it, and will def bu again when my 30ml bottle runs out. it has great lasting power, and you will smell it all day.

love this scent. I wear it sparingly bc it is a strong scent but beautiful. I love babydoll-its my fav YSL fragrance hands down. I love the pkging and the beautiful fuchia bottle. I wouldnt buy it again bc I simply like to try a variety of frangrances

I've had this fragrance for a few years and there's still a lot to go, since I only use it for nights out. It's a very rich and warm bouquet, as some other reviewer has pointed out, definitely sexy and womanly. Not suitable during work, perfect for a date or a girls night out.

I really enjoy this fragrance. It's warm, woody and just yummy. As it opens I get peony and red berries, and then as it dries down I get CEDAR, but in the most pleasant way. I don't think it's too strong, it seems to linger just around me. A great feminine, woodsy, casual scent. I love to wear this when it's 0 degrees F. outside, it makes me feel warmer somehow.
I do think it's a bit expensive, for what it is, one star off.

i LOVEEEEEEEEE this scent. I know absolutely nothing about fragrances so bare with me. I can't stand overly floral scents.. they give me headaches. I really am not overly in love with the sweet fruity scented perfume either. (Viva la juicy makes me sneeze). This scent is feminine but yet slightly more masculine. It stays wonderfully on me all day long. It is the best night time scent yet I wear it anything or basically all of the time. I am nursing my bottle since it's almost gone. Luckily my husband purchased me the largest size available when we were recently outlet shopping. Unluckily, I have to wait until xmas to get it! Loveeee this scent.

love this scent, it's so discreet/light/earthy.. not sure if i'm describing it well but i feel like it's the most perfect scent ever created + i love the bottle and the name too. sadly i think it's been discontinued in the states or something, it's impossible to find! just asked my mom to send it to me from europe.

I adore this scent! I bought it as my Sister's nickname is Elle and thought I'd give it to her as a present, but I smelt it and ended up keeping it!! It's great for a night out or just to use as your every day perfume. The only downside is that the bottle is really tacky, but apart from that perfect!

Oh my...love this fragrance so much! I got it as a gift, long after I fell in love with it at Sephora. The packaging is sleek and chic, feminine and attractive. The smell is something I can only describe as heavenly..woodsy, yet with some floral notes. The smell is reminisicent of a chic city girl who falls in love (made that romantic bit up). I love the way it sticks to my clothing long after I spray it on. I've only had it for a few months, and I am almost out!

This is a very unique woodsy/powdery fragrance. Its top notes are a bit sharp yet it really has this soft powdery drydown on me thats so sexy and feminine. I havent came across anything quite like it. The lotion in this set lasts forever on my skin too! Infact, when you wear the lotion you dont even need the actual perfume! After a shower at night I layer it on my body before I go to bed and I can still smell it lingering throughout the next day. Perfect for those bored of the same old classic floral scents. Truly unique.

The cedarwood in this is the most apparent note to me, beginning to end, its constant. The reviewer that described this perfume as a deep, moist woody rainforest smell got it right on. Its a dark, deep, moist woody smell thats both rather intriguing and quite unique. It has zero in common with the sugar sweet celebrity fragrances or the other typical florals and fruits floating the market. This perfume is alluring, deeply sensual, but definitely not coy - you will get noticed wearing this! It does remind me of an oriental in some regards, there is a spicy note there, patchouli obvious but not overwhelming, the floral base is incredibly genteel, like a whisper in the night, you get it when you arent looking for it, though its gone the moment you do. This is a bold, woody/oriental dark scent that I am really enjoying.

I tried this in the intense version twice, but it took spritzing the original version on for me to really get this scent. When I did, WOW.
The berries are sweet and diffusive, while in the background there are soft florals and a deep resinous patchouli. Surely the deepest patchouli I've ever encountered.
Wonderful and not for the faint of heart.
