This product is so so for me... My hair is naturally curly so when I want to blow dry it out it does make my hair feel softer but it stinks and whether I use a little or not it makes my hair oily by the end of the day...

I love Silk Elements!!! My hair is bleached platinum and it drinks this stuff up. A little goes a long way and if you put too much it can get greasy. I only use this on days that i blowdry my hair straight. I spray it on while my hair is still damp and by the time it's dry, all the spray has soaked in. It leaves my hair soft and detangled. And I LOVE the way their stuff smells!!!

Too oily for my hair. I already use an oil. I'm mostly let down because the SA at Sally's was horrible. I asked if this was oily she gave me attitude and and said no. I use it for the first time on a section of hair and sure enough it was too oily. I've never been to a Sally's where their SA's were knowledgable about their products. I was looking for a heat protector and would have bought one from Sally's that day she didn't have to pretend she knew about the product and lie to me. Ok venting is done. Too oily for my fine hair, if I didn't already use an oil that I am happy with I may consider this product for me.. Until then this is not the product for my hair.

I use the Silk Elements in the pink bottle, so I hope this is the same...just new/different packaging...

I LOVE this stuff...I have long, thick, course hair....I sprayed it onto my damp hair and put in my other products as well....then I sprayed each section right before I flat ironed it and my normally, very dry hair looks AMAZING today....I am very impressed...I actually liked the smell of it, so not sure what the comments about the smell are about.

I will definitely be re purchasing..and I'm usually a Kenra girl...but this has that product beat... :)

no way, it makes my hair dirty looking without offering the slip to straighten my hair. My hair looks dirty and fried at the same time. Im going back to sally's Beyond the Zone heat spray.

I give it a three out of five on the actual protection. The packaging is perfect, no complaints there. The part I don't like is the smell... It smells like an old person lol! I might buy again but I'm going to look around for something thy smells better and provides a little more protection for my fine hair. But it's pretty decent :)

I was using the Tresemme heat protector spray which does nothing at all when I found this on sale for under 5 bucks at Sally beauty. I l really like this product. It is effective at protecting my fine, dry hair when blow drying. I also will spray a mist of this into my hands and apply it to the ends of my hair. Has a mild scent which does not offend me at all. I like that it is a very fine mist. You do not need a lot of this to get results. Apply too much and your hair will look greasy. Two spritzes is all I need for my medium length hair. Definitely a good buy as this bottle will last quite a long time.

I used the one with the olive oil and loved it. This is not as good. My scalp starts itching after using this. It did not do well with humidity either. I have been under the rain with the olive oil version of this and nothing happened to my hair. I wore this in humidity and my hair poofed up to its max. The smell is good but did not do anything for me.

This stuff is great if you have to flat iron your hair and if your hair is slightly dry. I have big hair and this is the first protecter I've used till my grandmother gave me the olive oil one that she uses, and our hair are total opposites.

I don't really like the smell, but it does the job if you don't use too much. The only reason I won't buy it again is because I now use the Olive oil protector instead.

I love this stuff! I have thick, wavy hair that tends to frizz up if it gets wet after being styled (my ex used to say, "if one drop of water hits her, she'll turn into a big ball of hair"). I used this spray once in addition to Rusk leave-in conditioner and promptly developed Grease Head. The trick is to use it by itself. Today I am just puttering around and figured, what the hell. I used about ten sprays in my long, THICK, wavy, color-treated hair and it looks like I just came from the salon. I bought this at Sally's for about $8.

Happy Holidays!
