I really REALLY like this product. The scent is very different, I actually like to stand in the shower and just smell it. (Oh don't lie, you've done it too.) I don't feel like my face is 100% clean after using it but it doesn't irritate or anything. It might work better with the matching toner and moisturizer which I may purchase in the future.

I love this facial cleanser! I have dry/combination/sensitive skin, and this cleanser feels great. I have had some real issues finding a cleanser that didn't dry my skin and would also remove makeup. This one does all of that, and has natural, organic ingredients to boot! I had been using Weleda Almond Soothing Cleanser, which I also love, but found that the Almond Oil did not seem to be a great fit for my skin, and it did not remove eye makeup. With a price point lower than Weleda, I believe this is going to be my new HG! Thank you Aubrey Organics.

Yuck! I gave this 2 lippies because it did not irritate my skin and I like that it has organic ingredients. It is not a good cleanser though. This does not remove makeup and leaves gross film on my skin no matter how thoroughly I rinse.

Have used this for the past 3 winters. I have always had problems with flakiness in the winter. Cleans makeup and leaves skin soft

Overall I really like this product. It does not leave my face feeling tight or stipped after I use it. My face feels very clean and fresh. My complexion looks much better after using this for a month, along with the corresponding moisurizer and the AO vegecol toner. I have a sort of glow to my skin now. My only real complaint is that I have noticed some flaky dead skin patches, mainly on my chin. It can be easily removed, but it tells me that the cleanser really isn't really removing everything. I think I need to exfoliate periodically to prevent that issue. I plan to try adding a weekly a scrub/mask to my facial routine, and hopefully I will have achieved perfection.
I have a very difficult skin type to cater to, and I am so thankful that aubrey makes products for me! My skin is very sensitive, and prone to dryness. However, I am also prone to get acne. Sometimes I have oily areas too. Aubrey has really impressed me with their ability to help all those issues

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PRODUCT! DO NOT BUY!
I am sitting here slathered in Proactiv Refining Mask hoping that the BUMPY RED RASH caused by this product will go away! I am SO UPSET that this product has caused such an adverse reaction to my near flawless skin. The only other time this has happened is with retinol products like Retin-A and Differin. The worst my skin has looked in years!
I AM LIVID!

I have been looking for a more natural product for awhile and decided to give the Sea Buckthorn line a try because I have dry skin but more shiny in my T-zone. The smell of this product is not appealing, but I could get past that if it worked well. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but I my face never felt really clean after using this, and often felt tight and itchy. I gave it several weeks to see if my face was just getting used to more natural products (this was the first "good for you" line I tried) but dropped it when I noticed scaly patches on my cheeks. The moisturizer wasn't nearly hydrating enough for me, so this line went out the door. Great idea, but not moisturizing enough for me.

This is a great general cleanser which leaves your skin fairly moist and doesn't cause breakouts, and of course all natural! Not sure how it does with removing heavy makeup - i think it would definitely need a toner for residue. But if you don't wear alot of makeup, especially waterproof, it's a good product. The big downside is that it smells like a health food store juice bar on alcohol! I think about wheatgrass and carrot juice each time I use this cleanser, and the whole product does need to be shaken before each use

UPDATE: I am now on my second bottle which is far nicer smelling and textured than the first. More creamy, but now a bit alcoholy in smell though just as gentle. continued >>

I have pretty normal skin but I do experience some minor breakouts and clogged pores as well as some dry skin in the winter. I've been using this facial cleansing cream for a couple years now and overall it's worked well for me. I occasionally get blepharitis (eyelid irritation) and this doesn't irritate it or make it worse as I believe some cleansers do. It also doesn't cause me to breakout and it keeps my skin feeling soft. My only complaint is that it does a terrible job at removing mascara. I have to reapply it several times to get all the mascara off. Also it's very runny!
