Wow. This smells exactly like it says it should. Maple syrup, maple syrup, maple syrup! Don't get my wrong... I love syrup... but to eat, not to wear. I can imagine Immortelle being a gourmand-lovers dream. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of gourmand scents and this may very well be the most foody fragrance I have ever tried. On the plus side, this is one of the most long-lasting Ayala Moriel fragrances I've come across so far.

Immortelle l'Amour is a snuggly blanket in a bottle! The sweet and comforting scent of maple sugar deepens and becomes spicier on the drydown. I also pick up something a little "wheaty" in it that is grounding. This is one of the longer lasting Ayala Moriel fragrances I have tried -- it lasted nearly 8 hours on my skin, and I kept sniffing till the last whiff of cozy sweetness faded away. This is a keeper for winter, definitely FBW.

Very nice! It smells a bit like maple syrup but slightly smokier, spicier and more sophisticated. It conjured up images of waking up in the middle of winter, it's snowing outside but you are in a comfy, warm bed near a crackling fireplace. Not that it snows much here in Australia!
Great drydown, lasts well. *thumbs up*

I was one fortunate to receive a sample and to test this before it's going to be launched (sometime in November 07). I was just amazed at how wonderfully this smelled on me. It's less complex than the other AM scents - it's almost linear. Seductively edible notes of orange, cinnamon and an overdoes of vanilla and maple syrup. It stays on the skin long and strong, but never too strong. It just becomes deeper and deeper as the day (or night) goes by. I can see myself wearing this all winter long.
