I LOVE THIS RED. It's my most fancy and perfect red. It just glows. It's warmer while still being a true red in comparison to i'm not really a waitress by opi. It only needed 2 coats but didn't last very long on my nails, and I always use OPI base and top coat!
If I had not used base and top coat, I think it would last longer. My theory is that the color payoff is so rich in the first and second coat, because it isn't runny like for eg. the essie polishes I have. Therefore, the thicker the polish the less it lasts. I have this problem with all of my OPI's but none of my essies!!
I truly recommend it, it's in keeping with other OPI's so if you are a fan of OPI, this specific shade is SPECTACULAR!

Can I start off by saying YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally my go-to red!!! This gorgeous red shimmer shade from OPI's Russian Collection is absolutely amazing! This is what I was expecting OPI's "I'm Not Really A Waitress" & although I do love that shade & I'm wearing it now; it pales in comparison to An Affair in Red Square! I give 5 lippies for the creative name of this lacquer because I'm willing to admit that a kooky or intriguing name definitely gets me! OPI's amazing creative marketing & advertising team's creative minds comes up with fabulous names that really do get me to purchase at their classic & upcoming lacquers. AFIRS has a wonderful name, but doesn't need any name as this red is a real stand out! It's a red that's perfect all year, but really something for the holidays! I love how it has a metallic look to it & the shimmer is absolutely amazing! The blue undertones really brighten up my pale skintone, especially in the drab winter in new england! This red is a stand out without being over the top & bordering on loud & gaudy! Never! It reminds me of what Hollywood starlets would've worn from past days & present as this sophisticated, classy & elegant nail lacquer transcends time. A true classic & EXACTLY what I've been looking for in reds for a very long time! A true red shimmer with such character & such an alluring & intoxicating shade. I love red cremes, but when I saw this shade, I was hooed! I have noticed that this has been the shade that I reach most often for in my expansive collection. If you love INRAW & would love to try her elegant, more sexy, sultry & sophisticated cousin that has more depth & character in my opinion; this is the one! I can't stop staring at the bottle as I type this! This lacquer stays on a long time without chipping, if it's ever chipped! I've stuck with OPI over the years not only because of their fabulous collections, shades & high quality formulas, but because OPI never disappoints! I never mind paying the extra money if it's a quality item & OPI has passed with flying colors over the years & only gets better! The fact that I know my nails are going to last from the moment I apply to the moment I take the lacquer off myself & that can be up to 2 weeks sometimes in barefeet on the beaches in the summer & never a chip! Never! Amazing & worth every penny! Afterall, life is short & I want to spend my time doing other things!!! OPI allows my nails to look fabulous & flawless without a tremendous amount of upkeep; although it looks that way! Thanks OPI! Another winner & one I'll buy again! Not really a who???? Gawd I love this shade! It is the perfect shimmery red and is what I wanted INRAW to be as it's slightly warmer and compliments my skintone perfectly.

This is my favorite red polish-its a true red with a touch of shimmer-no orange or pink undertones-Beautiful finished look for any time of year.

This is my favorite red of all time and the one I reach for time and time again. I like the satin shimmer finish, its not flat. Its the perfectly elegant, bright red. No hint of burgundy or ruby tone. Looks great with Asian skin tones. Lasting power is typical of OPI's excellent quality. Love the packaging too.

I love this red so much! It is better than I'm Not Really a Waitress (which I have). I have several reds and this is the one I go to all the time. I'm on my second bottle! It is a bright red with a little shimmer to it. I've had many compliments on it and am always telling people what it is because they want it when they see it. Will be buy again!

I really really love this red!! it is gorgeous and a perfect red, it also looks glamour. Actually this red like a Christmas red and also very pigmented. I think it is one of my favorite red nail polish!

Beautiful red! I wanted a perfect truly unique red for Valentines day and the holidays and this polish is perfect! I can wear it year round as well. The gold shimmer is so pretty! I'm so happy I found it!

Can we take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this colour? It's like rubies on your nails! I just tried it for the first time, my first OPI along with Russian Navy. Im blown away. I don't even care about durability because I just love it so much. You'll get a cherry coverage with the first coat, but for the bottle colour get two; a metallic deep red with sort of a golden shimmer to it. Not your red if you want it to be discrete, but if you're not a fan of the classic reds and like to try something more edgy, this is it.
Would I buy it again? I WILL buy it again.

Like many I am always looking for the perfect red (lipstick, nailpolish, etc). Well for nail polish I have found it.
This is a beautiful shimmery red. I always get compliments when wearing it and my nails are not long but the colour still looks good.
The formulation is so much nicer than a lot of OPI I own. You can get away with only putting on one coat, although I always put on two.

I have more red nail polishes in my collection than any other color, because I am *always* trying to find just the right shade of red. With An Affair in Red Square, I have finally found the perfect red! It would be perfect for the holidays, yet I can wear it year-round. Two coats of this incredibly beautiful blue-based red color, and its richness, depth, brightness, and shimmer all come through stunningly. It makes me feel as snazzy as if I were rolling around town in a red Corvette. I probably won't be buying any more red nail polishes unless it's to buy this one again, because it really is the perfect red. I've finally found it, at last.

This polish is a beautiful shimmery, shiny, rich red colour. You don't need more than one coat unless you're looking for that kind of colour. One of my favourites.

I am a red nail polish junkie, and own so many different varriations of red polish. In the sea of all the red family OPI's I own, An Affair in Red Square is one of my favorites! It is a little lighter red than I would typically wear, but it is absolutely gorgeous applied AND it looks great in both summer and winter.

Favorite red nail polish. So deep and shimmery, I love the gold undertones. This polish just makes a look more sophisticated. I always wear this as my holiday red as well. Would recommend to both warm and cool toned people.

I fell in love with this color when once tried on at the Nail salon in Toronto. Usually Im not a fan of bright red nail polishes but this was definatelly an exception. I purchased my own bottle after few days. I love that the color is not just plain red but it has a little shimmer in it and it shines a lot. Its very juicy and amazing red color with shimmer. The only problem it chips in about 2 days for me.

I bought this color on a whim at a going out of business sale. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. Its a deep shade of red that also has some shimmer to it. The only thing I don't like about it is that this color chips really easily; even with a good top coat. My other OPI's don't do this. Maybe its just the formula?

I've always had trouble wearing reds on my hands. It just never looked right. That is...until I found An Affair in Red Square. I imagine this red would look great on any skin tone. It's so vibrant and rich with just enough shimmer. It's fun and classy at the same time. This color makes me happy just looking at it on my nails or toes.
The reason why I took off one lippie was because this particular polish usually chips within a day. All of my nail polish is OPI and I've never had this problem before. It doesn't matter what base coat and top coat I use. The handful of times I've worn this color, it always starts chipping the next day. It's a shame but it won't stop me from wearing this color! Love Love Love it!

Beautiful color. Goes on smoothly, love the big brush, doesn't chip and just very flattering. It is a shimmery red, more on the warmer tone, but would work for many skin tones. Looks luxurious and classy!

fabulous vibrant shimmering red from my favourite maker. Love OPI for its texture, range of colours and lasting power. This is a slightly more vibrant red in electric light than daylight, love it.
