I adore this lightweight body balm for summer! Poolside, lightly scented with green melon, camellia and magnolia blossom, contains shea butter and aloe vera, along with watercress, Iceland moss, and seaweed. Provitamin B and vitamin E add to the mix. I discovered this product a few weeks ago in a magazine (can't remember which one); I bought it to help soothe a sunburn that was just past its worst stage. This brilliant balm allowed the burn to breathe (I tried using other body creams, but they just suffocated my skin and made it terribly sweaty) while cooling the skin and offering relief without the tackiness associated with the typical aloe vera gel that many people use for sunburns. Although my sunburn has subsided and turned into a nice tan (due to all of the moisturizing that kept the skin from peeling), this product has taken up permanent residence in my large handbag (beware--the tube is pretty big [8 fl. oz./240 mL]). Also, a companion shower gel (Poolside Shower & Bath Gel) is available in the same scent (however, I haven't tried it yet). I paid $11.50 for this product at the ~H20+ store, which I felt was very reasonable. Note: I recently found out that ~H20+ makes a product specifically for sun-scorched skin: Body Soother Sun Relief Gel, which I'll definitely try in the future, given my positive experience with this and other ~H20+ products. continued >>
