Yes Yes a million times Yes this is my HG nail polish all year round, it is smart sophisticated and IMO the most beautiful colour ever. In the sunlight you can see it light up and sparkle. I have bought this over and over for the past 5 years and I will continue to do so for a long time. I have 6 bottles in my cupboard so that I never run out!
This is easily my HG nail polish. It is the only one I've ever purchased twice, and I was so happy to find it today that I almost bought two. The first bottle I got was a gift from my best friend who is now deceased, so it was very special to me. It started to get a little gummy so I stopped using it. I thought it was discontinued because I never saw it at Ulta. I was so excited to find it again. The trick to this shade is that you MUST use at least two coats. It "comes alive" with the second coat. This is my absolute fave!

I love this colour. I picked it for the name, admittedly, but it's one of my go-to staples. On me, with very fair skin with olive undertones, it comes out as a deep chocolate brown with burgundy shimmer to it in sunlight. Indoors, it's a rich, shimmery russet that tends to a sort of merlot red. Really beautiful, really elegant, even on my short nails, and it appeals to my recovering goth tendencies. All-around winner.
Not really what I expected. In the bottle it looked like a gorgeous dark red/burgundy colour. I thought the perfect fall colour.
But the real colour is only visible in all it's glory in bright light, a big problem when you live in a country with 300 rainy days a year. So basicly people always think I wear black nail polish. I can see the depth of the colour and how gorgeous it is (because I'm obsessed) but nobody else can see it.
I also have a lot of dark colours and they all tend to look the same with the gray weather we have so my friends think I always wear the same polish.
I use nail envy as a base, 2 coats of polish and essie good to go as a top coat, like that the polish lasts 3 days untill I see tip wear.
The problem I have with OPI bottles is once you'r half way it's more difficult to get the polish out.
Overal I find it a pretty good lasting polish but I wish the variations of the colour would be more noticeable.
I love the effect when I apply the second coat. I wish the glitter was more prominent. I mean It's a truly beautfiul and unique shade but I only really love this polish in the sun or under really bright light where you can see it at its best. Yes, it's a little streaky upon the first coat but it reaches the bottle colour at the final result. Definitely an evening or winter polish :D
This is a stellar color, hands down gorgeous. I bought a bottle for myself after I saw my friend wearing it in a beautiful half-moon mani. That said, my bottle has a really runny formula that makes it a little difficult to work with. I'm pretty bummed about that, but I love how nice it looks, so I'll keep using it every once in a while.
I love Midnight in Moscow. I've been lemming it for a while and finally got it in a swap. Its such a beautiful deep blackened brown shade with dark red pearl through it. Indoors red pearl gives this shade a bit of dimension, but under certain light and in the sun it shines beautifully.
For some reason a lot of dark shades don't suit my NC25 skin tone but this one does. It is vampy but wearable.
Two coats gave me bottle colour, it dried quickly and had typical gorgeous OPI gloss.

There were many great shades in OPI's Russian Collection in 2007 and Midnight in Moscow is one of my favourites. It's a soft black with a brownish red shimmer ("charcoal with maroon" says the official OPI description). It's a warm "almost black" shade that flatters my skin tone no matter if I'm pale or lightly tanned and though it's a winter shade it looks just as great in summer, the red glimmer shows best in bright sunlight!

i picked this up, as i didn't have one like this at all. this may be one of the nicest, most interesting colours i own.
in the bottle, it looks like a black packed with red iridescent. but once applied (you need 2 coats minimum), it appears as this aubergine, prune, burgundy, maroon off-black. VERY interesting colour.
those who buy it for obvious red/burgundy shimmer will be disappointed. but those who buy it for a unique multi-tone black, will be very pleased. the subtle shimmer is not supposed to show, but is there to give the black this brilliant dimension and i promise you, this will NEVER look like a plain black on. some light brings out purple, some brings out maroonish-red, and some brings out burgundy.
i have a feeling this will be the shade i often reach for now and i can see myself buying it again and again. i have never owned anything like this, and i think it is these kinds of colours that make OPI so well-loved.

I really like this polish. I first found out about it in a salon where I got my toes painted in this color. In my opinion this is the "red" version of Lincoln Park After Dark. I just bought it myself & love it as much as I did in the salon. Some people say this is like Tease-y Does It, but I have to disagree. That is one of my top favorite nail polishes of ALL TIME (which i highly recommend). Anyway, this polish is great if you are looking for an almost black reddish color, which I also recommend. continued >>
