This is one of my all time favorite moisturizers!! I have been using it for well over a year and have to say that whenever I run out and switch to a backup moisturizer, I find myself jonesing to buy another bottle of The Antidote!
Other reviewers have said that this is thick and heavy hard to run into the skin?! I have never had this issue. I find this moisturizer to be light and easily absorbed into the skin. What I love about it is that even though it is more of a fluid than a cream, it acts more like a cream. It leaves your face feeling very soft and it helps to reduce fine lines. It also has a cooling effect which I love. However, be careful when applying it around your eyes... the cooling effect is due to a mint derivative which can burn if you get it into your eyes.
It is a little pricey but a little bit goes a very long way. A 1.76 oz bottle lasts me about 3 months.
I use this with the Skyn Iceland Glacial face wash which is also a great product!!

Would I buiy this again??? HELL YES!!!
Just finished my first bottle - I used it from December to May, when the weather is crazy and unpredictable here with wind, snow, ice, then 60 degrees one day and 20 the next, and through it all, my skin stayed comfortable and clear. I have normal skin that used to be dry and has lately been veering towards oily. This is the first winter I have not been plagued with multiple breakouts due to our weather.
The Antidote is a viscous lotion and applied with a bit of a whitish cast that fades soon afterwards. There's a little tingle when it applies which is refreshing. Apparently there is SPF 18 and it's paraben free (yay!!!). Cost was OK ($45 per bottle, but I got a 20% discount).

This moisturizer is great! I love the fact that it's not tested on animals and that it is a physical sunscreen. The smell is clean, fresh and a touch minty. Also, there is a pleasant tingle that lasts for a few minutes. At least, I find it pleasant, if you have VERY sensitive skin you may want to sample it at Sephora before shelling out the $45 dollars. I'll definitely buy again when I have the cash.

I'm using a sample of this product from Sephora. So far it works fine for my skin. I don't have any problems, at least for now. I'd purchase it despite the price. It works well underneath my makeup - liquid or mineral powder. I've been happy with every product I've tried - mostly samples + purchased mist spray.

I have been using this product for over 3 months now. It is the best sunscreen I have used on my acne prone and highly allergic skin. Before this I used DHC White Sunscreen and love it too; however, with that sunscreen, my mmu would eventually turn oily on my face. With this sunscreen, my mmu, would stay nice and beautiful throughout the day. I love the cooling sensation. It really wakes me up in the morning. I have found that with continued use it lessened those little milia bumps on my face. My face loves willow bark and tolerates only physical sunscreens.

This sunscreen was a pleasant surprise for me. While expensive, I decided to give it a try because it is a physical sunscreen. When I'm outside working, I use Solbar SPF 38 (fabulous, BTW!) but it is not matte enough for me to wear foundation over it. Boy am I glad I tried this!
Application is easy, you pat it rather than rub, though sometimes I rub to spread the product more efficiently. This doesn't make me oily at all and the cooling sensation (a staple of the S.I. line) is really great in the AM. I love that it has broad spectrum protection and it disappears into the skin really well. There is no white cast and no greasy feel. Be careful when applying around the eye area, as it can irritate if it gets in your eyes. But I haven't had much of a problem with that except the first time I applied it. A little goes a long way so I hope that one bottle will last me several months. A really great sunscreen! If you have a Sephora near you, go give it a try. I bought a bottle sight unseen, as I don't have a Sephora in my town. I'm glad I took the risk! It's fabulous! I purchased mine through skinstore.com. They have a great auto-delivery program that will save you 10% on your shipments. They are great about having 20% your order every few months as well.
If you want to try Skyn Iceland, I highly recommend the 5 day travel kit, which comes with the cleanser, toner, day lotion and night cream. The products all last longer than "5 days" and is a fabulous way to give this line a good trial run.
UPDATE: I've found that this isn't the best sunscreen for the summer months. Being in AZ I SHOULD be wearing sunscreen every day. But with the heat, this just leaves me too greasy. So for the winter months when it's not so hot, it's a 5 as it doesn't overdry...but in the summer I'm brining the rating down to a three because of the shine factor.

I have been using this product for about 4 days (1x a day) and I have to say I truly love it. It is thick and hard to rub in but once I realized that you are supposed to "pat" it in I got the hang of it and it work wonders! My skin is very acne prone and this ss actually helped "heal" a couple blemishes I had that would just not go away on my chin. I have to say I have not noticed a "cold" feeling when applying like other reviewers noted. Im very happy with this product. I really love how it makes my skin look after it is applied. Dewy and healthy...I would have to love it for $55!

I received this as a sample with my Sephora order, and it was good for two uses...but I ended up tossing it after the first use. It was a very thick cream, and it felt immediately heavy on my normal/dry skin. It did make my skin feel cool, which would be nice in the summer, but not being able to put it on my eye area was annoying because I like SPF on my eyelids as well. I thought this cream would sink in and dry quickly, but it didn't -- I applied my BE foundation on top and extra Mineral Veil just in case! I am glad I didn't get the full-size, I'm sure it's expensive (the sidebar ad indicates $55!) -- if you want to try this, get a sample packet from Sephora. Wouldn't buy.

Tried this with a sample from Sephora. Thought it might be a winner based on ingredient list but the heavy menthol in this made my skin feel cool and then the burning started. Had to wash it off. Not a great choice for very sensitive skin despite the all mineral sunscreen in this. Price is $55.00 for a small bottle. I wished this had worked cause I thought the texture very nice, however I do have dry skin.

Looking at the ingredients list (active ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 6.3% & Zinc Oxide 2%), this product looked very promising. Unfortunately, the texture is not very pleasant --- it's meant to be patted onto the skin...and rightfully so, because it's very hard to spread. Although it's a lotion consistency, there's hardly any slip to the product. One good point is that there's no white cast - it absorbs into the skin sheer. The biggest complaint for me is the formulation is heavy on the menthol -- gives a lovely icy cooling effect on the skin, but it lasts for over an HOUR and made my sensitive skin dry out and overproduce oil by midday. I suggest sampling this first, especially since it's pricey ($55 for 1.76oz). **NOTE: I'm doing a trial run of Skyn Iceland products, and they all contain menthol or peppermint and give a cooling effect to the skin...suprisingly, the products agree with me all except for this sunscreen, which cause immediate breakouts the day after I used it. I've discontinued it, and my skin is reverting back to normal. continued >>
