The color in these shadows looks much more subtle on that in the pan. I find the texture kind of grainy, not smooth which is more to my liking. I think it makes me skin look older.

I got this on sale for about $2 at Target; what a great find! This quad features four sheer, springtime shades: pink, purple, grey, and white with a gold/green tint. I especially love the white as a highlighter or wash on the lid with a little bit of Sonia's "Burnished" in the crease--the look is subtle and makes my brown eyes sparkle.

As the name suggests, these eye shadows are designed for a sheer spring/summer wash of color. The quad features pastel shades of taupe, purple, peach and a lime-tinged beige, all with a soft shimmer. The shadows blend easily, but once they are blended, they're more muted on the lids than they appear in the compact. Overall, this quad provides a nice, subtle, seasonal look, and it's reasonably priced.
