I love it. I use it after the Clinique soap, but only at evening. For morning i found it a bit to much. I noticed result after a week.

I am 16 years old and have combination skin. I've been using the Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion for three years and I think that it is absolutely amazing. I haven't had a bad break out since i started using it. However, it does tend to make my skin very dry so I do recommend using a good moisturizer after.

I love this toner. I have seen a huge difference on my skin when I use it. It clears out my breakouts faster. It also takes off all the makeup residue my cleanser leaves behind. I am on my second bottle.

I love this!!! I have had the worse blackheads ever on my nose. I use this nightly before bed after using the foaming wash and they have seriously cleared up alot! I bought the try me kit in the smaller sizes and plan on buying the full size once this one is finished.

This "clarifying" lotion, is not more than a toner and everyone knows it. Clinique just wants to be the "diferent" one.

Uses

Directions
*shake vigorously until powders dissolve
*using a cotton ball, sweep aver face and throat avoiding eye area
*use AM and PM after Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam
*if bothersome drying or peeling occurs, reduce usage to every other day
*after acne clears, continue using for preventive care
*fallow with acne solutions Clearing Moisturizer

Pros...
*Its a really good toner overall
*It contains a good amount of salisylic acid so it will exfoliate dead cells just because its an acid.
*Its non-drying... by it self, because if you use this with other topical stuff this will dry you out... I personaly like to be dryed out im not one of those people who says Im super oily whitout beeing it. Im SUPER OILY it takes 30 to 45 mins to the oil o break every primer or foundation I have ever tryed.
*In the ingredient list it also says that it contains nylon-12* and Silica* this stuff is proven to absorb oil, witch hazel extract thats also known for balancing the skin, caffeine that helps the redness and the inflamation.

Cons...
* If you use too much it can dry out your skin
* If you have an "oily" skin and you really just get shine in your nose.... you ARE NOT!! oily at all so stop using this heavy dutty products.

I love this toner, even more than the Alba toner I had been using for several years. My sister gave this to me because she said it was too harsh for her face, but it is fine for my normal-type skin. The packaging is simple but sleek. I use this in the mornings with a cotton pad, applying it on my face, neck, and sometimes my chest. My face feels clean and refreshed, and I definitely notice my face getting quite oilier throughout the day if I don't use this. It is not much more expensive than the Alba toner, so I would definitely purchase this again.

I think this is working. I am 49, extremely oily and still breaking out. Almost thought about going to the derm doc again, but dreading that since all they ever want to do is give you retin-A. So i knew I couldn't use clinique's whole acne solutions line (waaaayy too drying), but I decided to use just the toner, and just at night. Voila! During the day I use Burt's Bees acne solutions moisturizer, and 2x a day use their cleanser. That's all, and my face is clearing up. Oh ya, and not eating anymore Halloween candy helps too.

Yes I am 30 something and STILL have very oily skin. I thought I would have outgrown it by now but no dice! On the bright side I have zero wrinkles!!! (so far) anyway, I am in love with this product. It keeps my oil at bay and my break out to a minimum if at all. I sweat a lot in the summer along with the oily skin.., not a good combo!!! This is one product I can't live without!!!

During the first year, I used the toner diligently (morning and night) and had amazing results. Of course over time, I got lazy some (*cough* most *cough*) nights. Yet, my skin is still pretty good. I make an effort to use it when I'm traveling and when TTOTM rolls around (it makes my chin area dryer, but seems to work very well with healing what ever pops up).
