this is a very good boar bristle comb (very thin to be a called a brush) for the price. i paid $5 at wal-mart. it's a wooden comb with bristles as well as lil plastic, rounded bristles-which are able to reach the scalp while the BB move all the surface oils around. while the plastic bristles make this much better for me than the average BBB, they stilla re not long enough to reach my scalp through very thick sections of hair. thats ok though, it does a superb job. i usually finger-comb anyway, so this is just an added bonus to my routine. i like to use it especially the day after i co/cwc, since i dont shower everyday and my scalp gets oily quick. will def repurcahse if necessary, but this lil guy should like a long time!
