Me: oily skin more in the warmer months, no breakouts.
I picked this up because I needed a moisturizer that wasn't heavy or sticky. I don't like the DDMG because it is sticky when it dries. I've only been using this product for a week, and it's okay. It has benzoyl peroxide so it is a little drying, but it doesn't make my skin feel tight or uncomfortable. It works pretty good at minimizing oil during the day, even in this hot humid southern weather. The packaging is pretty good too, I like that its in a tube so I can get every bit of it out.
Plan to use this until I find something better, but I will not repurchase.

I bought this product 4 days ago and I'm already seeing results! It's really effective on my (likely hormonal) acne around my mouth and jaw that popped up recently.
Will update in the future if my results/feelings change!

I used to like this lotion, but it's started to burn my skin. I will definitely not repurchase.

This product burns and chaps your skin if you have sensitive skin- took me weeks to heal my skin from this horrible product... never again!!

This is Horrible, i have extremely oily skin and this turned it to the opposite i have huge flakes everywhere. This made my skin super dry and gross, to strong for a moisturizer considering it has 2.5% benzoic peroxide.. overall wouldn't recommend this product.

I used this, because my skin is oily and acne prone. It doesn't last long, for one. You need more then I'm used to in order to actually put it on. It makes face dry. It also makes my liquid makeup go on horribly and flake off. It did help with my acne, I had less breakouts. However, too many cons to this makeup.

I think the product works great. At first when I was trying to use the Acne Solutions three step routine my skin seemed to get worse. It dried out my naturally sensitive skin and caused my cheeks to breakout with huge pimples that left scars. I have since stopped that and am now washing my face with a burt's bee product, using this clinique product(the third step), and then moisturing with an olay product contating spf 15 afterwards. The combination has left my skin feeling soft with minimal breakouts, and noticably clearer and more radiant skin. The key is to moisturize afterwards because the bp in this product will dry out your skin horribly. I use it at night alone after washing my face to dry out any future pimples.

I am 41 with an oily, oily t zone and recently slightly drier cheeks, and I get acne on my nose, forehead, cheeks and chin; both cystic and whiteheads. I wanted to combine acne fighting with a moisturizer. After all the reviews I read, I tried this one. The BP was fine, I was already using 2.5% so I knew that would not be an issue. I started using this a month ago, changing nothing else in my routine. I have to say this really works. My cystic acne is gone, not returning in huge crater-making form but rather smaller ones that go away almost before they start. My whiteheads are very reduced as well, just one or two near my cycle. It is not the best at really moisturizing, I still have to use a moisturizer on my cheeks and sometimes my nose (which always flakes) but I noticed that it's not really drying either. I am not halfway through the tube over a month in, so a little goes a long way. (I only use it once a day.) If it wasn't so expensive, ($17-18USD) I'd give it 5 lippies and would hoard it like Elaine & the sponges. :) continued >>

Worked just like I hoped it would. The redness, of course, comes always qith benzoil peroxide products, after that my skin has cleared so much, i used to have mild acne and it had evolved to medium when I decided to star using this product. I only used the moisturizer, I didn't change my facial cleanser o add any other product. Works great and also helps my oily skin, I generally only use it once a day and that's fine.

Don't buy this product if you have combination olive skin. I can't speak for others. But when I tried it, at first, I had one or two pimples, and a few light scars. I thought this would be great, seeing as its used for both prevention and treatment. First 2 days, placebo effect took place, I really thought it was working, I felt better about my skin blabla. By the end of the week I started noticing blemishes. Read online that that was my "skin getting used to the product", other reviews said that "the product was just bringing out my pimples". A month and a half later, I had pimples in places I never had before. I broke out, my pimples got worse. I insisted on getting my money's worth so I kept using it. but I'm gonna save you all the hassle, and tell you, this product not only doesn't work but it makes you're skin WORSE than it was before. I STRONGLY don't recommend it. My skin was FINE before, great texture, just a few blemishes but after using this product it was a battlefield! The DAY I stopped using it, my skin got better.

This was the only thing that's cleared up my decade long battle with acne, and I've tried Proactiv, expensive kits from the derm, OTC washes and treatments, you name it. It isn't really a moisturizer, but I have really oily skin and this helped mattify it. Within a week I saw results. A WEEK. It's been almost three weeks now and my skin is almost entirely clear and smooth. The mattifying effect sadly wore off around two weeks after starting to use this, but it cleared up my skin so well I don't really care. It didn't dry me out and leave marks like 5% or 10% BP and didn't smell bad to me. A little odd but the smell disappears within a minute or two. I will definitely recommend and buy again.

After seeing all the good reviews about Cliniques Anti Blemish Solutions/Acne Solutions line I was desperate to try it, hoping it might sort out my long term adult acne.
But I soon realised that the european version of this line (Anti Blemish as opposed to Acne Solutions) does not contain the same ingredients. I really wanted to try the Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer, which contains 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide but this is not available in the UK - the UK equivaltent contains Salicylic acid instead. Nevertheless, I'd seen that the Anti Blemish Solutions 3 step (UK version) has some great reviews at Boots.com and Debenhams, so I decided to purchase the foaming cleanser, clarifying lotion, clearing moisturizer, mask and emergency gel.
I wasn't disappointed! I could see a difference after one night and after a week of using the 3 step twice a day, my skin has really cleard up and healed. I haven't had a single new blemish appear. I always used Differin at night and Oxy 10 under my moisturiser during the day but since starting the Clinique system I've been able to discontinue the Oxy 10 and I'm planning to cut out the Differin as well. I would thoroughly recommend everything in this line. It's made my skin so much less oily, but not too dry either. None of the peeling that you can get from benzoyl peroxide. I don't need to wear anything like as much make up, which is a bonus!

This is my FAVORITE part of my makeup routine! I have VERY fussy skin. I breakout easily and get horrifically oily. This lotion not only has kept breakouts completely away (besides the 1 or 2 during you-know-when) but it keeps me very, very matte all day long. By the end of a full day I have just barely a bit of shine breakthrough which is easily removed with a quick blot or grazing my kabuki over my T-zone. No more looking like I dunked my face in a bucket of baby oil! Also, it has very significantly increased my makeup's staying power! I could not love this any more than I already do!!! I will not put any makeup on before I put on this. Only tip I have on this is to apply a very thin layer of it on. If you use too much it will clump up in flakes and come off. It absorbs quickly so you're ready to apply foundation in a minute or two. If you have acne prone skin or get super greasy, please give this a try!

I used to use DDF's Tea Tree Oil Benzoyl Peroxide, but they increased their price and test on animals ..... scratch them off the list!
I picked this up after a SA at Sephora recommended it to me. I understand some of the reviews and dry skin complaints. However, I find this product to be perfect for me.
I only use this in the morning as my acne treatment/moisturizer. My face is not as oily as with my old moisturizer (which was also by DDF so I needed to find a replacement moisturizer too). I also notice a nice glow to my face and can see a difference in pores/blackheads.
I believe if you use this in the morning and at night your face will dry out. To counteract this, I use Kate Somerville's Clearing Lotion which is just an acne treatment followed by a more heavy duty moisturizer. Sometimes I skip the acne treatment at night and just to the moisturizer - depends on what my face looks like. It's a lot of different products, but it works for me.

I really like this product. I do have acne, I finally admitted to myself, and I find that when I break out, if I put this on just even for one night, my acne is substancially reduced the next day. If I use it for a few nights in a row, the acne is gone. It is still very mild and has no added fragrance and no parabens, but seems to have a little of its own minty scent. I have not noticed it drying out my skin or irritating it in any way. It will clear up the skin.

I don't hate this product but I don't love it either. I didn't notice a huge difference in any reduction of oil, acne, etc. so in my opinion its not really worth the money to purchase again. Also, it is very drying, because the Benzoyl Peroxide it contains is an anti-bacterial and an anti-inflammatory and it tends to be slightly harsh on the skin. If you do choose to use this product I would recommend to use it once every other day before bed instead of every day or twice a day. Don't use any other harsh cleaners, toners, etc while you're using it because it will just dry out your skin even more and totally stress it, leading to more breakouts etc. Use a gentle cleanser/toner, like Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water and see how that goes. Also, if you find yourself getting very dry, make sure to incorporate a hydrating mask at least once a week to keep your skins healthy and hydrated. Hopefully this product works better for you than it did for me. And, if you choose to use it, but just be aware of the harshness of acne products and be kind to your skin!

Comes in handy when I feel like my pores are clogging and I need to keep my face clear. I use it at night and it does stay very lightweight. Does over dry, sting, no scent, and doesn't get sticky. I like that they included a lot of anti-irritants in it too. My only complaint is that they should make one that has a higher % of BP in it for stubborn acne.

Not a bad moisturizer but for acne clearing...ineffective. It doesnt break me out but it's nothing impressive either. Thought I liked it but when the breakouts kept coming, not so much.

Awful, worst thing I've ever used from Clinique. Didn't treat acne or any breakouts, wasn't soothing in the least especially when it caused me to have rashes on my face. This shouldn't be called a moisturizer. I bought this with the soap bar and toner. The first time I used this I not only felt tightness and my skin was dried out NOW I anticipated as much BUT also I broke out in tiny little bumps on my forehead and sides of my face. The bumps were so tiny, like pin sized. The rash appeared in the morning when I woke up so I freaked, I couldn't understand how this had happened. My skin was itchy as well. I avoided using it for a few months but I kept using the soap and toner without any problems. I had then tried it again because I had some very bad outbreaks. I only applied the product on those exact places and had the same awful reaction. My skin normally isn't that sensitive but this product irritated my skin like nothing else. I used this five or six times over a year and threw this away. I would have thrown it out sooner if it wasn't so damn pricey over $20. Anyways if you want a acne wash Clinique is fine but I'd rather use Benzagel for spots. They shouldn't call it a moisturizer when it's so thick when applied. =( Never again!

I'm using the clinique acne solutions 3 step system. All acne products are harhs on the skin, but they need to work! I have vey oily skin, so i need to buy oil free products. This product is a keeper, i only use it at night, contents benzoil peroxide! It lightly moisture my skin, reduce the size of existing breakouts and prevents new ones, no oil or stickness recidues, works on the first night of use! i wake up with a more cleared complexion! Not bad reactions on my skin with this product! I use a sunscream on the morning! No one product will eliminate completely my oilyness, but i can use products that can reduce it! Think smart and use the right products based on ur skin type!!! This product is working on me, deffinitely will buy it again!
