I like this scent. It's light, soft and fresh. If cotton had a smell, I imagine it to smell like this, because it just smells so nice and fresh. I like to use this as a room and bed spray, and also to spray on my clothes for that fresh laundry smell.

I have EDT, body mist and creamy shower of this fragrance line. It's a very fresh scent which make you feel better in hot summer days. Its base note is a very nice vanilla scent, very very soft. It's the scent of pureness, cleanness but not the scent of a laundry detergent or fabric softener. It would be unfair to describe this scent as a cheap room refreshener smell. I use it for me, sometimes for my bed garnets, even for the room because this smell helps me relax (kind of anti-stress smell) and I like to smell it.

It makes your clothes smell like fresh laundry. Pretty strong too, and the fragrance last for a pretty long time where ever you spray it on.

[BATH & BODY WORKS SERIES #6] My nose is fine with this scent. Can’t complain at all. It’s my gorge that disagrees. About two seconds after I smell it, it’s a concentrated effort not to dry heave. There’s a sickly sweetness in the depths of this ostensibly fresh, outdoorsy fragrance that my system wants no part of. Before anyone asks, I can’t remember if I had the same problem with Cotton Blossom, but I don’t think I was ever in any special hurry to buy it.

I love the smell of laundry, so when I first smelled Sea Island Cotton I loved it and had to buy it. When I got home, I sprayed this on me since I never put any body mists or lotions on the day I go shopping for new fragarances. I put it on ny neck and wrists, like any other body mist, and put it away. Boy, did I make a mistake buying this product! The scent didn't smell like laundry anymore- it smelled like pine trees. The scent didn' stay any longer than ten minutes, either. It was the worst product I have ever gotten from them, and I won't be buying this again.

I think this is the best simple and inoffensive smell I've ever come across with. It does smell like clean laundry but with a dash of floral. It smells so simple and I swear I never thought the smell of fresh laundry could make me feel so feminine, calm and happy :)

I hope this never gets discontinued as I always want to have a bottle of this until I die. There are certain occasions or places when a simple and pleasant smell like this is all you should wear so as not to offend anyone.

My only complaint is longevity is pretty weak. It lasts only about an hour on me and I often find myself reapplying several times a day.

This is my favorite scent of all time :) I'm NOT picky when it comes to body sprays/perfumes, I think A LOT of perfumes smell good, but my head thinks otherwise Lol I'm prone to migrane headaches so unfortunately there have been quite a few times that I've liked a scent, but 5minutes after spraying it I've gotten a headache that laid me out for a 5hours :(
Fortunately for me I love this & it agrees with my head as well :) I've already repurchased this 3-4x as well as the body lotion, the EDP, shower gel & bubble bath!
I feel that A LOT of B&BW stuff is overpriced & overrated.. Some products seem expensive to me when I feel like I can find the same scents that are the same quality at WalMart. I find this to be very unique though. The best way I can think to describe it is that it's how you'd imagine fresh laundry to smell :) I'm quite surprised it doesn't have a higher raging, it's very light & breezy, not too "flowery" or "musky", nor is it overbearing.
This gets 5 lippies from me & I will continue to repurchase as long as B&BW continues to supply!

I'm not a big fan of BBW body sprays, but I do own a bunch of them in different smells and presentations. I think some of them are TOO strong (like dark kiss, black amethyst etc) but I got Sea Island Cotton in a sale, have never smelled it, just throw it in my bag at checkout. I love this smell, it is clean, fresh, and although it smells GREAT on linens, on me it doesn't smell like fabric softener, I get a more enjoyable scent that is not strong, just like a nice body odor. My boyfriend likes it, and he is very picky with smells (I am, too). Bottom line, great for everyday, jeans and white tshirt kinda thing, I would not use it to an event or something big, but is ok for the office as it is almost unnoticeable, clean, sweet.
