my one and only foundation !! even though it gets powdery after too much build up.. but at least if I go out with bit powdery face it oxidizes and goes to a perfect finish once I reach to my destination.. but one thing is it goes like ghostly cast in pictures if put lil bit much.. but at least it works for me..bcoz I cnt EVER use any liquid foundation because of the oily skin I have and because of the all year around summer weather with humidity!
HG powder for me! It sets everything in place and the color literally blends into my skin. I've been using this daily since December (now it is June) and I have not hit pan yet. Totally recommend it.
I will simply say that the more times I use this, the more I like it and come to rely on it, and I have been an anit-pressed powder girl my entire life. I needed ( wanted) something quick and simple to use on the fly when I'm out and about and this fits the bill, wonderfully. It is a sizy but yet lightweight compact with a mirror, and a basic sponge. I use a covered kabuki and pat on like you would a powder puff. Its working out for me both to matte me out a bit and as a light base for those times I leave home with little more than sunscreen but decide I need to polish up at a later point. It does not clog my combo, 47 yr old skin. It is undetectable, non powdery, heavy or cakey looking because I use a light hand and it's not hard to find an exact color match with Mac! Beautiful! With every color in the rainbow available....I highly recommend looking into this. Pro makeup at a counter where you can swatch or try it on before you purchase at an inexpensive price point. Use a brush or a puff if you can!
HG Product here. I LOVE this stuff! It covers so well, that I can use it for concealer under my eyes and blemishes. It also is a great product to quickly apply onto your face when you are in a hurry if you are looking for some coverage. Also, there is a pretty good amount of product in it also. I've had mine for 2 years and barely made a noticeable dent in the powder. L O V E!!!
Great product to do the touch-ups during the day or to set the liquid foundation and give more coverage to the skin. It doesn't break me out. I don't use it as a foundation, only as a powder and for me it is very nice product. It doesn't make my skin looking cakey and controls oil, too. It looks very natural on my skin and makes me looking just flawless! I love it! :-)
I know there are lots of reviews for this, but wanted to give my opinion. I brought this some yrs ago after I started wearing Mac,solely after the Sa recommended it. First off,I wasn't or didn't wear foundation,so was on the fence about trying this. I was just wearing the Select sheer powder,as this was all I needed. I purchased it in the same shade(NW43,it was Spring/summer) Normally I'm NC 45-50. This was way darker & looked more reddish than the Select sheer. It went on smoothly, but I could tell I had make up on. Plus this was heavier than what I'm use to. I even tried "lightly" dusting it on. Overall I wasn't feeling this product & B2M it. If you like powder foundation, this may be for you. But not me,and I haven't repurchased it & won't.
Hm. I've heard a lot about this product, read a lot of really good reviews and I thought it would be perfect for my very oily/acne prone skin. I am an NC35 in Prolongwear so I went for the same colour. Colour is ok (as you would expect, although it gives me the impression it's a bit on the red side and it doesn't look as good as the Prolongwear liquid foundation) but everything else isn't: It sits on my pores like a devil and makes them look sooo much bigger. I've also tried it with a primer underneath (Clinique's pore minimizer) and it's a bit better, but still not great. It also tends to look really cakey, and don't even dare to use it on top of another foundation, unless you are really desperate for coverage! Coverage is really good by the way - it hides the occasional red spot much better than other powders, I sometimes use it on a spot over a liquid foundation. It also tends to highlight little lines on my forehead, which I do not appreciate at all. It didn't really do a very good job keeping me matte when I used it on its own - in fact, I looked terrible by midday having applied it around 7...If you use it with a primer, it might be a bit better. But if you have very large pores like me, perhaps look elsewhere for a good powder foundation. I also have to say I am not terribly in love with Mac's packaging: Yes it is practical and some of the products are really good, but it's not as stylish as other brands (Estee Lauder, Chanel etc. Even Clinique is doing a better job, and their products are not anything terribly special...) A bit of eye-candy never hurt anyone.

I am giving this Product a 3 because it does in fact work very well for some people. This powder offers full coverage which is what I was looking for. It feels and looks nice on, but that does change. I get oily with this foundation after about 2-3 hours which is MUCH quicker than with other foundations. Then once the oil comes, the color of this foundation oxidizes to most oompa loompa orange color I have ever seen. I also have a VERY hard time finding a really good color match with MAC so the oxidizing just makes that worse. Now, I clean my makeup brushes regularly, I completely remove my makeup every night before washing my face, and my skin gets clearer as soon as I stop using this... So I can & will say, this product causes Acne. Huge Cystic Pimples and under the skin Pimples that take forever to get rid of. I think people that have relatively good skin are the only people who benefit from MAC Foundations. Especially this one.
Initially I loved this product, until it started settling into my fine lines. It starts to cake after a long day. The coverage is good but this product is not for me.
