I was really disappointed in this eye shadow. I loved the color on the website. Yes, I know that monitors vary and so too can the color, etc. In the jar, it's close enough to the olive green in the website's description. I wouldn't call it vivid by any means, but it's definitely olive green. Applied, though? Not even close. I put it on over Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and I had to keep piling it on. It's not like it was just a sheer color, either. It simply wasn't putting pigment on my skin. Eventually I just quit and wiped it off. I can see its merits as costume makeup, because a few layers of it looks kind of like a bruise, but other than that, I'm not impressed.

It's different! Pigment is there, just not a very pretty one. eek
A little chalky. I suppose it could be a fun color, like for St. Patrick's Day or something...
Skin Type: Normal to dry, tans easily, rarely breaks out. Skintone: LLL (olive skin tone) Haircolor: Changes frequently Right now, soft medium cool brown with soft caramel beachy highlights. Eye Color: Espresso brown.
This is described as a vivid olive-acid green to me it just looks like bile. Okay, maybe not. It isn’t vivid but it is a yellow green that really looks awful on my olive skin tone. When I apply this, it looks as though I have had indigestion for 5 days and will burst if I don’t get the air out! So, I stay away from this color!
BTW, the texture like all Meow stuff is great. For a powder it is on the creamy side!
