I have been experiencing a lot of health difficulties and one of the results has been the thinning and texture change of my hair. My stylist recommended Biolage Forte Therapie Cera Repair Pro and it has helped tremendously! It helps to tame the frizz from broken strands and makes the damage less apparent.
I've been using this for almost a week. I bought it because I'm trying to grow out my hair and I want it to be really healthy and soft. I think I used a little too much because today my hair feels a little bit sticky and like there's a weird coating in my hair. I sprayed it in damp hair and just scrunched it and let it air dry. My curls were softly defined and not frizzy. Usually I put mousse in my hair to curl it but this works better without the crunchyness. Next time I just won't use as much product. Wish it wasn't so expensive, and I wish I could find a drugstore dupe for this. Will probably buy another bottle once I run out.
This is one of my favorite leave ins for hair that has severe damage. It works well especially along with the biolage fortifying shampoo and conditioner. A few years ago I used to bleach my hair so I could dye it pink. The result of bleaching it my hair was in horrible condition and this really helped. I recommend this to anyone that does a lot to their hair and has some damage.
I'm a huge fan of the matrix biolage shampoos & conditioners!!!. My hair is super thick, course & pretty dry. So I'm always buying different sprays & leave in condioners cause my hair seems to never get enough moisture. After using the "healthy sexy hair leave in soy conditioner" for a few months, I thought I might try this product, since I do use the Biolage shampoo & conditioner anyways." My personal experience, I don't really care for this product, after spraying the treatment in, and then blow drying my hair, it leaves a a sticky, heavy type of residue/feel, (smells great) but the build up? not something Im looking for, it def. coats you hair(which is what im guessing it suppose to do?!) I even tried using it and air-dryed my hair, still leaves a heavy/sticky build up. This product just not for me!! :(
It is hard to tell if this stuff works or not. It feels like a coating is on you hair after you are done. Less breakage when I straightened my hair. I'm not sure how long it is supposed to last though.
I love leave-in conditioners because of how easy and quick they are, and I used this one for a long time. It's a good conditioner. I just decided that I prefer something without dimethicone because the 'cones tend to make my hair frizzy. This stuff smells fabulous, of course, like all Biolage products. If you don't mind 'cones, give it a go.
In the past 2 months I have tried 4 sprays on conditioners. I would say this is tied with Joico but not my favorite. Also – though it seems to work I noticed it has alcohol as the second ingredient – not good for us who already have dry hair (hence the reason why I use leave ins after conditioning in the shower).
TIP - One of my good friends is a stylist who gets write ups in all these big fashion magazines. I get free professional products from her all the time. Honestly – the best leave in I have ever tried is Thermasilk leave in spray. Using a drugstore product over free Biolage, Framesi and Joico must say something. For $3.50 bottle purchased at Kmart you can’t go wrong. Shhhh – don’t tell my friend's at GLOW in NYC!
This is a very nice spray-on, leave-in treatment. I use it on wet hair, before blow drying for added shine and softness. It has a lightweight formula that doesn't make you hair look greasy. I also really like the light, clean fragrance it adds to my hair.
This product detangles very well. Everything else I've tried doesn't get the tangles out of my coarse, kinky hair like this one. Pleasant scent.
What it is: A lightweight leave in spray to be used in conjunction with the fortifying shampoo & conditioner.
Packaging: Tall plastic pump spray bottle
Price: Around $15 for 8.5 oz
Scent: A light herbal scent.
Raves: Really love this stuff. In conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner, I really notice a big improvement in my hair by using the Fortifying line. The leave in seems to make my hair feel and look thicker, as well as making it much easier to comb through. Love the scent, an added bonus for me.
Rants: None that come to mind. continued >>
