Bought it with the rest of green tea and rice products. Did not work for me at all, found it quite weak when it comes to removing make up or even cleansing skin in general, had to wash my face 3 times in order to clean it. Did not like the scent, found it very synthetic like. Rest of the products are ok, as for the facial cleanser- would not purchase again and would not recommend to my friends.

The scent of this product is very nice, sweet smelling. It foams well, and it leaves my skin soft and clean, not tight and dry. I don't think I will repurchase however, because I personally do not like all the foaminess, I usually use scrubs or cleansers without all the bubble. It reminds me of a shower gel for some reason. But it is a good cleanser, that is why I give it 4 lippies. Have been using it daily for almost 2 weeks and will continue until the tube runs out.EDIT: dropping rating to 3 lippies, this is a touch too drying for my sensitive combo skin. Too bad, since I do love the scent.

I was buying some other stuff from Avon and needed an extra few bucks to get free shipping. I noticed that there was a new line of Planet Spa Japanese Green Tea skincare stuff on sale, so I thought I'd try it out (I have liked some other products from the Planet Spa line). The Japanese Green Tea & Rice Pearl cleanser caught my eye; it was CAD$8.50 for a 75mL tube. However, I also noticed that the Japanese Green Tea & Rice Pearl Pedicure Foot Scrub was $5, and came with a free 75mL tube of the cleanser...score! LOL.
I have to say, I am really, really impressed by this cleanser so far! First of all, I adore the scent...I am Chinese and this stuff smells so much like sweet rice cake. Hehehe. Anyway. I have combo/dry skin, and this cleanser removes all traces of makeup/oils without drying out my skin. I also love that the gel formula has a pearly pink shimmer—too cute. I was afraid of it breaking me out, but I've used it for two weeks now, and it has done no such thing. I like this stuff so much that when Avon sent out a free shipping code for any purchase, I ordered three more tubes of the pedicure scrub, and so I got three more tubes of this cleanser, for a grand total of $15.
