This is a great face wash. I have extremely oily acne-prone skin. It became flaky from irritation on top of my other issues this winter and brokeout terribly. So, I took a chance on this gentle cleanser. Usually "gentle cleansers" are terrible for my skin because it's so oily- they leave my skin greasy and dirty feeling. OliveVitale foaming cleanser actually CLEANS, but it doesn't strip or irritate. My skin has stopped flaking, my breakouts are slowly improving, and my skin tone is becoming more even. It contains many ingredients that are supposed to be soothing, antibacterial and/or antioxidant.

I don't know if it will be equally good during the summer months, but I love it for the winter. Jason Naturals now owns the Orjene Organics OliveVitale line, so I don't know if it will become more available or less available.

This is the best cleanser I have ever used. It's from a company called Orjene Organics. I stumbled upon this while looking for another natural type product and bought it on a whim. I used to use DHC products, but I'm trying to save this money so I bought this thinking it would be like the Deep Cleansing Oil. Let me tell you..it's so much better than that or load of other products. For one thing, it actually gets off every speck of makeup, including eyeliner. I've used all sorts of makeup removers that couldn't even do that. It's also amazingly gentle, considering how much dirt it seems to remove. It comes in a pump that pumps out a nice soft foam. I broke out recently and ever since I started using this my face has not only cleared up, but is a lot smoother. Plus it's 70% organic ingredients. I purchased it for $5.99, which is not a lot considering that drug store products with harsh chemcials go for more than that.
