I used this for about two years. It's okay, but I didn't find anything special about it. I just got used to it, and because of the expense had to use it so sparingly that I wonder whether it did me any good at all. Also, it's full of chemicals and has a very strong fragrance, which can't be good for the skin. And then there's the unhygienic jar. So I stopped using it, and my bank balance breathed a sigh of relief.

I have used so many moisturisers in my life, some of which I have used only once and thrown out because of the instant damage they have done to my skin. So now that I have found this moisturiser, I don't intend to try another for a long time. I have been using this for several years now. You only need the smallest amount because it has a thickish creamy consistency. It applies to smoothly, leaves your skin plump with moisture and radiant from within. Never once has it broken me out. It sure provides a lot of moisture (but that's what a moisturiser is meant to do, right?). Do not be afraid to use it even if you have combination/oily skin, because this will even out the texture of your skin. It feels so luxurious and it lasts quite a while with every day usage so it is worth the money. My HG moisturiser.

Best skin care product that i ever used! This creme is quite heavy but surprisingly it doesn't cause break out on my sensitive skin. Even it is quite rich n heavy, it is fast absorbing into my skin and doesn't leave a shiny oily film on my skin. And I love the scent. Been using this products for nearly four yrs and n not thinking of changing it!!

I have dry to combination skin and but no other issues. So all i really wanted was moister, This does not give that, at all. it sinks in fast but its like it vanishes....

**My opinion**
I got a generous sample of this product at Sephora. I tried it for about a week and I've to say that this moisturizer is really good. It left my skin soft, healthy, clearer and my make up glided on smoothly. On the other hand, Super-Aqua Day Creme Confort's insanely pricey here (30 ml = € 51,00 = $ 81). So I'm sorry Monsieur Guerlain, but there're other less expensive great moisturizers on the market and I don't think I would ever consider buying your full size cream.

I just got a sample of this when I bought some Guerlain items at Sephora. Firstly, I like the scent, just right after my first application of this cream my skin feels conforted right away! It moisturized well... However, it did not last all day long (my skin is seriously dehydrated). The texture is quite thick to the touch but goes on lightly if I apply a little only. If not for the price I think I would buy a full size, but because it is very expensive I guess i'm just happy to finish my sample and wait for Sephora to give me another one again.

I used this cream last year together with super aqua night cream, and I was impressed by its moisturizing power. It is a medium-heavy cream which sinks in if used moderately. This combination of super aqua day and night cream kept my dry/very dry skin moisturized and happy without being greasy (very few products can do this job). Dehydration lines disappeared in record time. No breakout or irritation. I also used super aqua serum, and it is very good, too (the most hydrating serum I tried but sadly, it irritated my skin). However, if your skin is not very dry or you need intense hydration, you would not need both serum and the cream (day/night). I found that serum + cream a bit too heavy even for my dry skin. The serum is very rich and moisturizing, so you would be able to use it in its own if your skin is normal to slightly dry. Or both the super aqua day/night creams are very moisturizing, so you would not need an additional serum. In spite of some problems I had with this product (strong fragrance, price), I think it is a good moisturizer for dry skin (IMO *a lot* better than Guerlain's substantific or SOS cream for dry skin).

**Update 2008 July** I still think it is a very nice cream, but now I don't think I will repurchase for this price. Since I used up this cream, I tried many other products and found that many cheaper cream works as good or even better on my dry skin than this one (Lierac hydra chrono, La roche posay hydreane...) but still would use happily if I get a sample...
