I was looking for a good Ayurvedic massage oil that contained sesame oil, and surprisingly, it's harder to find than you can imagine! I'm a Vata-Pitta type, and this oil seemed very well-suited for my needs. It's a very thick oil, and has the consistency of warm honey, without the stickiness. It retains heat surprisingly well. It's not fragrant, and has an earthy, "nutty" kind of smell to it that's not very potent and is not offensive at all. This oil works wonderfully for daily self-massage and leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. It sinks in surprisingly well and is not greasy at all. This is recommended for all Ayurvedic "types".
