This is my all-time favourite eyeshadow - I remember my Dad bought me a no7 starter kit as a gift when I was around 14 and this came in it - I have loved and used it ever since.
The colour is perfect - lightly shimmery pale brown with gold flecks. For my grey/blue/green eyes (they're a weird colour, I know), this really brings them out.
I don't wear base makeup - this can make it hard to pull off eye makeup in my opinion, especially when you have literally white skin like me. This looks very natural but with a hint of highlight framing my eyes and is perfect for day/evening wear - really any occasion.
I also sometimes blend with other eyeshadows - so I will use this all over as a base, and then lightly dust a lilac or darker brown around the edge and in the eye crease, and it goes well with a multitude of other colours.
The packaging is sleek and polished like most No7 things. For me it is a reasonable price - it lasts forever. I have like 4 backups..may be slightly obsessed. Think part of this is due to the nostalgia I have associated with this product, but it's definitely high quality and just great for my eye and skin combo personally.
I bought this straight after sampling my sisters and it's spot on for a base to contrast with MAC's Mystery (neutral dark brown), for a soft but dramatic eye look. Think Penelope Cruz's brown smokey eyes as opposed to black. It can also be worn on it's own as a wash, which is what my sister does and it looks equally as good. I like that it's an eye brightening shade, which makes your skin and eyes look healthy which is always a bonus!
I got this from Target on clearance for about $1.78. I like the consistency of it and that it is not too shimmery. It stays put and looks great with brown shades for creating a contrast. Chanel has a similar shade that is 20 times more expensive. In fact, this is a better shade than the one from Chanel. This is more neutral than the cool undertone from Chanel.
As a rule I don't wear eyeshadow but sometimes if I am wearing heavy makeup with a strong lipcolour and blusher I think my eyes look a little bare without it. This colour is perfect as a neutral base. It has a little shimmer in it but does not fall out. It compliments the blue in my eyes but I think this would probably suit most skintones and eye colours. A lovely champagne sort of colour that can be worn by itself or as a base for other darker colours.
I got this product free with a deal boots were doing. To be ohnest I didn't think much of it till recently but when I started really using it I was shocked. The eye shadow has a nice amount of shimmer to it (not enough to give you glittery fall-out on your cheek after an hr!), the Colour is a nice beige/peach and I think it would work with any skin-tone. Definately something I reach for in the morning!
This is my everyday, go-to eye shadow. It's a nice colour for my fair skin tone, as it is not too dark or dramatic. The colour is definitely excellent as a wash or base for eyelids. I add a darker shadow as contour if I want a more 'made up' look. The staying power is fantastic and creasing is minimal. I've had the same pot for 2 years, and there's still a bit left!! The only complaint I have is about the included applicator: it's junk. I use a long sponge tip applicator that I bought separately to apply, and that does a fine job. All in all this is a great eye shadow if you want a soft, natural look which can be enhanced with darker shadow and liner. This is not a matte eye shadow - it has some minimal shimmer, but nothing tacky or over the top. A definite staple in my makeup bag!
I discovered this product when I got it free with some other boots stuff I bought. It's a really nice neutral shade, sort of peachy/beige with the slightest hint of pink.
True its not amazing and there are certainly better neutral-shades out there but I think for the fairly cheap price this is good!
Ugh--beautiful color here but the quality is horrifying. This has got to be one of the chalkiest, dry, least pigmented shadows I've ever tried. Going straight into the trash and I'm avoiding Boots shadows like the plague from now on. I want my $7 back!!
I had this eyeshadow free with some other No.7 make-up. It's a shimmery beige that would suit anyone. I wear it sometimes as a day/neutral colour but it's not much to write home about TBO.
I usually hate No.7 with a passion but I really like this. For some reason the pallettes do NOTHING for me as far as pigmentation goes. This one however is a single and i have no problems. It was all on 3 for 2 so I took advantage and bought an eyeshadow that i could wear on a daily basis. Wheatsheaf is a creamy clour that looks good on anyone, it's light and shimmery and is very slightly beige....
I really like this colour it brightens up my eyes and is great to shove on in the morning with black liner.
