I've been getting these little bumps in between my eyebrows and on the sides of my nose and thought a product with salicylic acid would help, so I purchased this. I've used it for 3 days. I now have 6 very large, swollen bumps underneath my skin. They're quite painful and bothersome. Actually two bumps on the right side of my nostril have conglomerated into one big, very painful lump. No, I will not repurchase this.

Best ever! My HG moisturizer! My skin has been a grease SLICK since junior high and I've always washed it with industrial strength cleanser - followed by not even moisturizing cause my skin is so greasy.. This was the first moisturizer I ever used and it is amazing!
-Absorbs easily
-Doesn't clog pores, doesn't cause breakouts, non-greasy feel
-Relatively gentle (worked with most things - was a bit harsh when I was on high dose topical retinoids..)
-Has a clean scent
-Slight tingly feel
My only minor complaint (if any) is that the container used to suck for travelling, but now the lid locks so..awesome!
Would recommend to any acne-prone person who doesn't have super super sensitive skin!

I am not exaggerating when I say that Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Treatment saved my skin. In the past two years or so, I developed acne around my jawline that comes and goes - and when it comes, it is gross. I'd tried several other anti-acne treatments, but nothing I've used works as well or improves my skin like this one does.
I use this once a day, in the morning, under sunblock. The breakouts along my jawline have diminished almost entirely. What's more, this product leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth that it's unbelievable, especially for an anti-acne product.

HG acne control moisturizer (so far - about to try Olay Pro-X) but this is THE BEST acne control moisturizer I have ever tried and for the price you really cannot beat it. I haven't seen all the greatest reviews on here about it which I'm surprised about, but then again, everyone has different skin, different needs, different preferences. This is the moisturizer from Clean&Clear that is in the gray tube w/ blue writing, it has a pump which turns to prevent air from entering or from drying it out... I bought this because I have a tendency towards dry skin but it is considered combination as I can also have problems with oil. I got it because I tend to go for the milder forms of acne treatment and this moisturizer has 0.05% rather than say 2% like many products due. I find using a lesser amount of salicilyic acid in general helps my skin much more than bombarding it with higher doses even if I am having a breakout. At first I was afraid to put this all over my face because I was afraid of being dried out but from the moment I started putting some on I fell in love with it. The smell is very nice, not too strong, the texture is that of a not too thin and not too thick moisturizer... I woke up in the morning with nicely hydrated skin. It does help my acne. It helps to keep it at bay. I alternate using this at night with another more expensive moisturizer.. This is a nice one to have for that purpose if you don't want to use up an expensive one as fast and also have acne concerns.. I don't have major acne but I was breaking out a lot b/c I couldn't figure out what was causing it - I finally realized it was L'oreal True Match.. So I have gone back to Revlon for now. Anyway... I will not go without having this moisturizer I was very surprised, very impressed, will repurchase again and again.

This product is nothing special. Good moisturizer, smells great, and clean pump. Other than that I haven't noticed any difference in the amout of breakouts I've had since I've been using it (1 year) No real downfall but, no special benefit.

Love this..makes your face super super soft especially when you slab alot before u go sleep..u wake up to a very soft worth pinching face hehe.. if only im not on hydroquinone (whitening cream) id continue using this,too bad ive to stop coz those two should not go together..but if i stop with the hydroq,id be back on this! it prevents new pimples from starting too coz it has salicylic acid..i know right? awesome!

I bought this not expecting it to be a legitimate moisturizer. I only purchased it in hopes that it would help me with my acne. It did nothing of the sort. It wasn't oily on my skin (It says that it is oil-free) , but, it didn't moisturize, which, again, I wasn't expecting anyways. The major downside to this product was that it broke me out, bad. I used it at night, and, the very next day I had at least TEN more pimples than the day before. It's absolutely terrible. I definately don't recommend it. Unfortunately I am on project pan and have to get rid of it somehow...maybe I'll use it on my chest and back... It hasn't broken me out there...

It broke me out. It was thick, and goopy. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I hated this with a passion! I gave it away to my friend, who adores it.
But for me, heck no.

I have never even my life ever used such a horrible moisturizer. This moisturizer offered me absolutely no moisture. I felt like I was rubbing my face with tinted water. It left my skin drier than before, if that's possible. It also offered my combination oily skin absolutely no type of shine control. I will NEVER be purchasing this product again.

I use this every morning and a different moisturizer at night. I really felt like this wasn't that great and figured I'd just use it up and not repurchase but then I started to notice that it really did seem to keep my oiliness down during the day and kept my face from becoming dry as well. Makes part of my nose flake in patches. Makes skin under eyes very dry. Helps with how makeup looks, but has caused breakouts...
Do like to put this on under concealer though, has caused it to stay on the whole day.

Looooooves it! Im extremly oily and the moisturizers that Ive tried before, even when they say they're oil free, no matter how little I use, it makes my face look greasy. This is the complete opposite. It absorbs instantly n2 my skin. And I also like how it has acne medicine in it to keep fighting break outs. I will keep buying it as long as they make it :)

I really love the feeling of this moisturizer when I put it on. It doesn't leave an oily feeling at all and I think that's why I fell in love with this product. When I wake up in the morning, my skin has less oil and my skin tone looks more even. However, I think I agree with some people on here that say that it isn't working for them on the acne part. I've recently been breaking out really bad, personally. I don't think this moisturizer is the reason, but I don't think its helping either. I plan to purchase the Cataphil moisturizer to see if it's better.

This stuff is amazing for acne and oil prone skin! It keeps my skin oil free but not by drying my skin just by making it feel nice and smooth.

I love this moisturizer!! It is never greasy even after hours, leaves my skin super soft, and goes on easily. The smell is very pleasant, almost like apples. It blends very easily and the consistency is not greasy or slimy like some products.

It helps keep my acne down better than other moisturizers marketed towards acne. It's also good to mix with foundation for light coverage.

This is a great product because it packs a double punch: It keeps your skin clear and also makes it feel super soft and supple.Another plus is that it doesn't make your skin feel the slightest bit greasy when you put it on. The only problem with this product is the scent. At first, I thought that it smelled a bit too much like an acne fighting product (for lack of a better term, "medicine-y"). I now associate the scent of this product with freshness, but I feel that others might not find it as appealing. But overall, this is a great product.

This is the only acne moisturizer I've used that has gone on smoothly without leaving me greasy or drying out my skin. I love it.

i love this moisturizer. i got this to use when its my time of the month. it goes on easily, and moisturizer my skin great. i actually love the smell too. and with the acne medicine in it, im surprised to say that it doesnt sting or burn when applying. its a great moisturizer.

A few weeks ago I started getting tiny red bumps randomly all over my face. I even purchased a sensitive face moisturizer, but the bumps just kept popping up. Since I've been getting great results from the entire clean & clear line, I decided to browse through their moisturizers. This has 0.5% salicylic acid.
I only use this at night before bed. It doesn't feel greasy or sting my skin. It smells like shaving cream, not the fruity scented either. I use about 3 pumps for my entire face and neck. I noticed my bumps going away after a couple of days! The best thing I've noticed after adding this to my nightly routine is how much my nose (blackheads) has cleared up.
