Color - Stage Green is a golden green with olive undertones; wears like chartreuse with golden shimmer.
Product - Advertised as waterproof. Base color seems to be waterproof but the shimmer is looser and some of it can be swept away when rubbing my eyes. Goes on smoothly and spreads easily. As with many cream e/s, if you go over a wet layer with fresh product you can remove rather than layer more on - so technique is important, depending on whether you want a sheer or more opaque application.
Packaging - Click-pen type applicator with a brush applicator tip. Most click-pen types have a brush that has a somewhat flattened base, more like a lip brush; this is shaped more like a pencil brush (round at the base and comes to a dull point) and has far more bristles. The brush tip is very dense and soft, which is nice for an eye product. Overall the pen is slightly slimmer and shorter than other click-pens (such as Stila Lip or Eye Glazes, Sephora Iridescent Cream Shadow), but the amount of product is about the same: 1.2 mL / 1.4g / 0.04oz. There is a small window decorated with the Dior logo through which the color of the product inside can be seen - helpful, but a larger window would be easier on the eyes.
Overall - Lovely shade. Discontinued product, I think. Original retail was more than I would pay for this (approx $25), but at eBay prices this was a nice find. continued >>
