If you can pass the awful chemical smell it is an ok foundation.

I bought a sample from this and I tried it various times.
I didn't like it at all. It was hard to blend, was cakey and felt sticky, emphasized my pores and imperfections.
Wouldn't buy it...

Disappointing! The coverage is horrible and it does not blend well. It looked super shiny when I first put it on but that did improve once I put loose powder on top. Does not last.

Terrible. Have very sensitive, dry skin. Sucks the moisture right out of me. Cakes in lines and creases and pores. Barely there coverage. Would not buy again. Will not use again. Tossing bottle.

i think it is for dry skin. For my combo skin, its very sheer. i dont like sheer foundations at all; if you like, and have dry skin, you'll be probably happy with the result. Because its cheap and good coverage, try it!

I stopped by the Avon store and tried this, it was awesome. It matched my skin perfectly. Gave good coverage, but still kinda sheer. I am really picky about foundations (aren't we all?), and this one was really nice. I paid $12, it was on sale. I like it better than any foundation that I have tried this year--Revlon Spa and Maybelline Age Rewind were good, but this is the best one. Try it.

I used a sample I had in beige. This has an awful smell that lasted throughout the day --- smells like some suncreens smell. It covered nicely, but left my face a greasy mess all day - I have combo skin. Even with finishing powder it still was greasy. But the smell was the worst part. The first day I used it I smelled like sunscreen all day and didn't realize it was the makeup until the 2nd day when I pulled out the sample and it just reeked!! After reading some of the same comments here, I guess that's how it's supposed to smell. Ew, I threw my sample out. Good thing I didn't spend $16 for it (reg. price).

I bought this mostly just becuase a friend at work started selling Avon and I wanted to be nice and give her an order. But, I actually really really like it! It is great for my dry skin - very moisturizing. It can be built up for more coverage - I like that you can go from sheer to fairly covered up. I didn't notice a scent. I like the pump bottle. I love the dewy glow it gives me - definitely made me look like I had had a lot of sleep. Stays on great.
I am very pleasantly surprised - I would buy again! It was around $18.00 which to me is pricey - but it was worth the $$.

I usually wear the L'Oreal Cream Age Perfect foundation, but since I could get this so cheap, I decided to give it a try. I am actually pretty pleased with it so far. It is a lot thinner since it is not a cream ;-), but it takes only a drop to cover a large area. The pump is handy too. I barely pump the cap so as to get a tiny amount of product and wow does it go a long ways. It is a building type coverage for all the reviewers who complained it did not cover enough for them. Try allowing it to dry and then add a little more to the areas that need more. I chose the creamy natural shade and it is perfect for my tone. So far I am liking it a lot. It does not change colors on me. I think the smell is ok, and it fades pretty fast. Now if it does what it claims on my wrinkles ;-), I may be a loyal customer.

I tried a sample for this and i hated the smell...and it had very minimal coverage and looked unnatural.

This is the best foundation that I've ever used. I used tinted moisturizers exclusively for several years because I couldn't find a foundation that worked well with my skin type and skin tone. When it's cooler, I want fuller coverage and this product gives me great coverage that looks natural and is long-wearing. I likely won't wear this product year-round only because I do like tinted moisturizers with SPF in the spring and summer months. But in fall and winter, when I want more coverage on my face, this is what I'll continue to use. It provides a beautiful finish.

Creepy space cadet glow, smells weird, minimal coverage. Maybe I just got a bad bottle?

In winter I have very dry skin that gets itchy if I use the wrong foundation. In summer, I get oily, which causes itchiness if I wear mineral makeup. I typically have clear skin so I don't use foundation to cover blemishes, only a little ruddiness or discoloration. I prefer good coverage as opposed to tinted moisturizer of my youth, and have been using MAC stick and Max Factor Pan Stick foundations for the past few years. I love these, but was looking for something that also offered treatment for beginnings of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots since I am now in my early thirties. I have tried several 'treatment' foundations to no avail, they either didn't have any coverage, any staying power, or just plain didnt 'treat' anything. I then decided to try Avon's age transforming foundation, even though I have had problems in the past with some of their products causing minor breakouts on me. I have to say this foundation has surpassed my hopes. It has marvelous staying power, doesn't feel mask like, has good coverage, looks velvety, and has even improved the appearance of some of my fine lines around my eyes. I have only been using it for about a month, so even more improvements may occur. Avon is re-debuting the product in a couple of weeks with different color options, some of the older colors are no longer available, and there is a couple of new ones. It comes in a sanitary pump bottle, which can never be a bad thing with makeup, that always releases just the right amount of foundation. It is easy to apply, blends in well with the moisturizers I have tried (collagen and elastin face cream, ponds cold cream, mark chocolate orchid face cream, and neutrogena healthy skin). I have even tried white paper tests to see how much transfers after a few hours of wear, and it is very little. Is it the very best foundation I have used? I have no complaints thus far, and it hasn't even broken me out at all. It runs around 12.00 through your avon representative, or online at avon.com. I am about to buy my second and third bottle to make sure I don't run out in case they decide to discontinue this (which avon likes to do from time to time!)

I love this foundation! Before this, the only foundation I used for the last 10 years was Estee Lauder Lucidity (which I think is just the perfect foundation) but I was looking for a cheaper alternative from Avon. Having tried Avon's Ideal Shade (& not choosing my ideal shade) I moved on to the Anew formula. I found the perfect match in Nude &, while the texture will never be as lovely as Lucidity's -- it starts off a tad sticky in comparison with high-end foundations -- it does dry off to a perfectly natural finish. The coverage is fantastic & you'll look like a million bucks ... no matter how sleep-deprived you are! The SPF 15 is always a nice bonus & the pump makes regular jar foundations seem simply antiquarian. I do one generous pump & use my fingertips to dab onto cheeks, forehead, nose, chin & then blend away. Nice tidy application with zero waste. Love it. continued >>

If my Grandpa tells me I look well rested when I wear this, then that's all the review I need. For cashmere softness and a silken glow, this delight of a product is just the thing.

This is a wonderful foundation! It is very easy to apply with a sponge or fingers. In addition, I like the fact that the product comes in a jar with a pump. After applying it, this foundation leaves my skin with a youthful, glowing appearance. It works really well with Avon's mineral blush, and it fits in great with my skincare because it has anti-aging benefits, a sunscreen and fantastic coverage. The smell is pleasant, and the coverage is long lasting. Excellent product! I will definitely repurchase!

I found that Ivory in the anew age transforming formulation was darker than usual for Avon, and the coverage wasn't as much as promised either, disappointing as it gave me a muddy complexion but didnt seem to cover much.
Worst of all this highlighted dry patches, wrinkles and crepeiness I didn't even know I had before. My boyfriend, who is normally polite and comments favourably on my makeup took one look and said "oh my god! But you look 5 years older." I thought so too and so I never got to experience the age-lifting benefits of wearing it.
Also, it sat on the top of my skin and NEVER sank in or dried properly. It then shifted around my face at will and at the slightest facial expression collected into my smile lines in a thick creamy obvious line. I'm early to mid 30's and have oily combination skin

I hesitate to buy Avon makeup, because I don't usually like it. This was on sale, so I gave it a try and am pleasantly surprised. Good coverage without being obvious, and a great match to my skin color (the lightest shade on my whiter-than-white face). It smells like miso soup, though, lol!! While I enjoy a great bowl of miso as much as anyone, not sure I want my makeup to smell like it. However, the smell faded, and I'd definitely buy this again.

this foundation did not work well on my combination/somewhat oily skin. it actually broke me out in a matter of hours, and had a very odd smell. the pump is nice, though, and i did like the texture. better for a drier skin type.

I don't usually like Avon foundations, although I like a lot of other Avon products. I tried this only because I got a sample. The color of the sample was almond and my impression was favorable so I ordered Almond and Cream to try both. The color almond worked best (I'm about NC20 but a bit less yellow with pale cool level 11 blonde hair). The Almond color definitely looks a bit dark going on but it really mellows in a few minutes to blend well with my skin. I can definitely say it gave me a glow and smooth skin, but not a greasy glow. I wear a lot of sunblock so looking greasy and white can be a problem, but it seems not to be with this foundation. I was a bit skeptical about how the color would look in many different lighting situations, but so far I haven't been shocked looking in the mirror. I've worn this for a couple of days and this morning to get my haircolor done. One of the stylists said my skin looked good so I said I was trying a new foundation and would like her opinion, since she mentioned it. she said it looked good and I believe it was sincere and not just some comment to avoid offending me, especially since my opinion is that it looks good. I gave it a 4 because, as one person mentioned, it looks better applied with a brush. In my opinion it is too thick and one day I mixed it with a drop of water and used a brush. I use just a very small bit, less than half pea size; I definitely agree the pump dispenses too much, unless you like very full coverage. I would recommend trying this if you have any interest in it. It does have a weird smell but that fades very fast.
