I picked out Perky lipglass as one of my back-to-mac recycles (turn in 6 empty plastic containers and get a free eyeshadow or lipglass). It is a light lilac with silver undertones. There is NO color pay off. This is extremely sheer. Basically the light purple doesn't show up at all on my lips, the color could be green and it wouldn't matter. There is the usual sheen you get with lipglasses, which is nicely moisturizing, but I wouldn't pay $20.00 for this color, which is really NO color and I'm kind of bummed that I used my back-to-mac for this one.

I picked up Perky during its Holiday 2012 release, and love it. It's similar to Morning Glory lustreglass or Cultureclash, but leans a touch more lavender. It's loaded with rainbow-hued tiny glitters, but feels smooth on lips. I adore MAC's packaging and formula. The vanilla scent is my favorite ever. I wish this was permanent.

I love the name- "Perky"- heh heh, LOVE the color in the tube (pretty lilac, lavender), but on my lips? Just so-so. I like that it is a wearable lavender and not some gaudy purple for daytime. Unfortunately, my lip color must have a blue-base to them, because Perky just seems to melt into my lips and look like a plain, faintly-colored gloss. When it wears off, it leaves little silver sparkles, but nothing so unsightly that would make me want to stop using it. I wish it showed up a little more pearly lilac on my lips... but oh, well! I probably wouldn't repurchase, since Perky doesn't really show up much on my bare lips. Perhaps I should try this over lipstick and see what happens.

I love this lipglass and it is one of my favorite purchases from the Balloonacy collection. It is a beautiful shade of lilac in the tube, but when applied it shows just a hint of PALE purple, and IMO is very wearable. I love this paired with Fun Fun l/s too! A great springy combination for my NW15 complexion! Would definately repurchase!

This is a gorgeous lilac in the tube (very true to the swatch on MAC's website)and showed up on my lips as a sheer lilac-pink with just enough color, but not scary purple at all. Love it, and will rebuy if still available (Limited edition from the March 2007 Balloonacy collection)
