This eyeliner is a beautiful deep brownish purple. It really enhances green eyes and works as a great alternative to brown and black. Nicely pigminted. However, I would recommend using an eye primer. The eyeliner is very waxy and smooth. This means that it glides on super smooth. It als
o means it starts smudging after a few hours. All in all It's worth the money. Good color, good quality and longevity.

i give this product a 4 as an overall rating because it is a beautiful deep berry purple (think a slight red undertone) which adds a pop for green or hazel eyes. I first tried this item out in 2004 when i worked at a merle norman studio, however i ended up with an allergic reaction to this specific eyeliner and their eyeshadow in oyster. If it werent for the allergy i would have continued repurchasing since then.

I have this eyeliner in eggplant which is a purple-brown color. The pencil goes on very smooth and smudges easily. It wears all day and I have oily eyelides and comes off easily. I intend to buy other colors, it was around 12.00 for this pencil and it lasts a while.

This is a gorgeous plummy color. You almost think it's a soft black until you look at it up close. This color really makes brown eyes appear soft and luminous while really brightening and enhancing green eyes. For being a purple based shade, they've added enough of an almost soft black undertone to it to keep it a neutral so you aren't left with purple rings around your eyes. Gorgeous!

This is a nice change from basic black eyeliner, with a jolt of color.
