This cleanser reminds me a lot of Clean and Clear's Daily Pore Cleanser because of the very small exfoliating beads (reminds me a lot of when I mix baking soda into a cleaner to make it a light exfoliating cleanser actually) but with a slightly more moisturizing creamy gel base than the Clean and Clear.
This is a good basic cleanser that cleans without stripping (for most skins anyway, the extremely dry may disagree) and leaves skin feeling clean, fresh and very, very lightly moisturized. Personally I wouldn't trust this to remove makeup by itself, but I usually wear long-wearing makeup so I'm always concerned with making sure every last trace of makeup is removed. There is a floral scent to this that to me is a little stronger than I'd prefer (I prefer for there to be no scent to my cleansers being honest). I'm not enthused about the price though, $10 seems sort of pricey for only 5 oz. of a drugstore cleanser. The only reason I even tried it was because I found it on sale and saw the good reviews here. Overall I recommend this cleanser to others for daily cleansing if you can find it on sale.

I pretty pleased with the Positively Ageless line. I have combo skin & my face is soft & glowing after using this line. I tried the Positively Radiant pads & my face broke out. I'll stick with the ageless line. continued >>

I got this in a set of Aveeno Ageless products, so it's not in a pump but a twist-top tube, which seems preferable to the pump. The mico-beads don't really exfoliate, which is fine with me as I exfoliate in the shower. The consistency is runny and it doesn't lather, which is also fine as lathering stuff can strip your skin. Gets off makeup with no problems and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. No real anti-aging properties that I can tell, but I don't expect that from my cleanser anyway. ;) Overall, a decently-priced cleanser that does the job and doesn't strip my skin dry.

I tend to buy products that have very little product in the bottle but cost a lot! I read about this product in Elle Magazine and am glad that I considered trying it. I have sensitive skin that reacts to everything, but I've had no issues with using this product. I use it once a day (in the morning) and am very pleased with how smooth my skin is afterwards. I wear makeup and smooth skin is key when applying foundation. The tiny granules have not stripped my skin, and the scent of the cleanser is great too. This is an affordable cleanser/exfoliator that does what it's supposed to. This is definitely a staple in my beauty product kit.

I actually bought this by mistake as I was planning on buying the Positively Radiant facewash. Glad I made the mistake because I really like this stuff! Love the dispenser and mostly love that it only takes one pump to wash my entire face & neck. The microbeads are very fine but I had a scratch on my forehead and OUCH when those microbeads were massaged over it! Removed makeup wonderfully and my face feels completely clean and fresh after rinsing. continued >>

Love this product - a nice, gentle but effective cleanser. It has a very light texture, with very fine exfoliating beads in it - feels wonderful and I absolutely LOVE the clean, fresh fragrance. As well, comes in a pump - good size bottle, so good value for your money. I do find, in the winter months, that I sometimes get a bit of dryness after using it - however, it is easily solved with the application of my moisturizer. I did not experience this same dryness during the summer months.

I've used this cleanser for about 8 months, and am very satisfied. I love the smell, and the way it gently exfoliates my face. My doctor recommended using Aveeno after I was diagnosed with Rosacea, and this product does not cause any flair ups whatsoever. My only complaint is that is can be slightly drying, but putting a light moisturizer on my face after a shower takes care of that. I like the bottle with the pump, it's clean and easy to use the correct amount.

I really like this product! It is gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin everyday. It makes my face feel refreshed and very soft. It is not harsh at all and actually feels really good when I rub it on my skin. I love the way it smells, as well! It has a very clean, fresh scent. I'm not sure it reduces signs of aging, but it is a great exfoliating cleanser.

This dried out my skin and I have oily skin. This rarely happens with a cleanser because my skin is extremely oily. Also, the granules are too small to exfoliate well. I will never use this line again. It made my skin blotchy and crinkly.

This is one of my favorite cleansers. I have very sensitive skin that is acne-prone, so I am always looking for something that is gentle, won't break me out, won't cause an adverse reaction, won't strip my skin, but at the same time wash off dirt and oil and grime and makeup (yeah, I know, asking for a lot!). This actually does it! This was one of the few cleansers that did not overstrip my skin in the winter and didn't cause any additional breakouts. The little exfoliating granules are very fine particles, but that is best for getting a bit of a scrub. I use this as an everyday cleanser because I don't think that there are enough grains in here to work as an effective scrub, but I also use Tazorac, and I don't need frequent exfoliation. This winter, this cleanser has been a lifesaver for me. I would definitely buy it again. I also like the pump because you can control how much it will dispense so you're not wasting product. This is a big tall bottle, so it lasts for a while!!

This is a great product by Aveeno! I only use it once every 7 to 14 days, and that is all my sensitive skin needs. It is gentle enough and doesn’t irritate, and doesn’t break me out, but still does a wonderful job of getting my facial skill clean and clear. I use it when I need it, when I start noticing some blackheads on my nose or chin area, and this literally wipes them out completely with a single use. Also, I love the pump (hygienic!), and the fact that the cleanser is kind of runny. I don’t like when I have to pull on my skin to apply anything – it totally defeats the purpose of anti-aging!! Not sure how this would work as a daily scrub, but then again, I wouldn’t want to use scrub daily to begin with.
I use retinol, and from what I hear, using scrubs or exfoliants is not necessary when you’re on retinol. So I use it seldomly, as stated, and I don’t see any problems at all (and I even have sensitive skin!!!). It is gentle, but delivers great results, even when used sporadically! I always keep this on stock (and with my irregular use, lasts forever!). Yay, Aveeno! :)

Smells great, gentle scrubbing action- I use it in the shower as a follow-up to Olay disposable face cloths. Maybe not absolutely necessary for my regimen, but the scent and texture are a nice start to the day. No breakouts from this, just a soothing, refreshing sensation. Pump top is good for controlling amount dispensed.

This is a pleasantly scented cleansing scrub which doesn't lather. I did find it a little drying on my skin, and it left my face feeling tight after use. The grains in this cleanser are quite harsh and have caused some irritation on my sensitive skin. Compared to Aveenos Skin Brightening Daily Scrub, this is much grittier and the grains are a lot sharper. I don't think this cleanses as well as some other Aveeno cleansers, my skin hasn't felt totally clean since I started using this. I have broken out too which I think may be caused by this not taking off all my makeup. I doubt I will be buying this again as I prefer a gentler scrub for daily use. continued >>

I liked this scrub quite a bit - not quite HG, but almost. It's a little expensive for the amount you get, but it smells nice and it also smells different than Aveeno's other products. The scrub has small beads, which i really like, but the consistency is a little offputting at first, as it is a little runny.

Bought this a few days ago and I really like it. Its a clear/white thin gel with some small scrubbies in it (not enough to be irritiating, but enough to be effective if you rub hard enough). It foams, but not too much. Just right. Rinses clean. My skin is on the dry side, especially in the fall/winter, and this is working for me. I always like some amount of exfoliation when I cleanse, but not too much, and this sure beats using 2 products. Im actually very impressed with it. Most d/s gel cleansers are too drying, or are too gentle to do anything. And most cleansers with scrubbies have too much and are too irritating (st ives), or have such small amounts of scrubbies, or have beads that are too big and perfectly round to do anything. This is just right. I love the container, which is a pump bottle, and the nozzle twists and locks in place. I paid about $9.50 for the 5 oz bottle, and I will repurchase for sure. It takes off makeup well too.

Bought this cleanser and the night cream after I tried the daily moisturizer from this line (I still like it very much).
Nice product, it is not really exfoliating because the micro beads are just too small and gentle. Cleans well, no residue or film. No breakouts or redness. The fragrance is kinda strong even for me, but I can live with it.
The pump however sucks…what is with Aveeno and their crappy pump bottles??!!The product is too runny and keeps running down the bottle so you have to hold your hand and the bottle in a certain angle…
Oh well, I still like it but would not buy it again I think.

Normally I don't use exfoliating cleansers anywhere but the shower because I don't want to leave any grit on my skin, and my experience has been that these types of cleansers are notoriously difficult to rinse off. Not this one! I tried it in the sink thinking I'd probably need more than a few splashes of water from my hands to get it off, but that's exactly all it took to rinse it completely off. I have sensitive skin, and hence probably shouldn't use this everyday, but it is really very, very fine grains in an emollient base. Even though there is grit, this cleanser feels soothing as well. Would definitely buy again.
