I was/still am a bit iffy about the sprays i put into my hair (especially sprays to make your hair more silky or for shine) because many times they weigh your hair down and can make your hair oily. NOT this product. It adds a nice shine to my hair, makes is very silky soft and doesnt make it greasy at all. Also, i am a nut about the smell of my hair, and I always want it to smell good. Some products smell terrible or cover up the good smell of your shampoo and conditioner. This spray smells fantastic... I cant explain it, but its very light and kind of fruity. This is a good product from the Kenra line and I highly recommend it for all hair types!

I'm addicted to this shiny stuff...I've tried others that are less expensive (and some that are more!), but keep coming back to this...its shine without looking dirty or greasy and the smell is a candy-like heavenly scent...I hope they never discontinue this...

I absolutely love this product so much its one of my favorite things ever created not even exaggerating. Its a very very lightweight mist. My stylist used this on my hair for the first time & I fell in love, I had to get one for myself. Thank baby jesus my mom is a licensed cosmetologist so I can get this for cheaper. It isn't cheap but its not ridiculously over priced like some brands (eh hem i.e, pureology, kerastase) i'm so surprised how under-hyped it is, I owe it to this product for giving me good hair days.

FINISH:
Makes your hair have high shine, silky and soft all without weighing it down, making it look greasy or crunchy. Your hair will really look like you've been to a salon or look like you have naturally beautiful hair. (It doesn't treat hair health by any means really its more of a styling product)

SMELL:
Honestly my favorite & hands down the best smelling hair product I've ever come across. At first I couldn't describe it but then I realized it smells kinda like strawberries & cream at best but better, not as fruity and not in a cheapy way, very luxurious & unique. If my hair could smell like anything it'd be this!

Love this stuff. Makes my hair really soft and gives great shine. Smells great. Makes me feel like I just stepped out of a fancy salon whenever I use this. Packing is really pretty and shiny. Expensive, but worth it imo.

I no longer wear hair spray however, every now and then I need a little extra something to keep my hair in place and the Platinum Silkening Mist is a great fantastic finishing spray ........ I was afraid of the alcohol content, but let me say that this product is non-drying and keeps my style as well as keeps my hair so soft...... it smells wonderful, gives some shine and works great with the other Kenra items I use (Texturizing Tafft and Platinum Silkening Gloss.) If you like Sexy Hair Concept's Sexy Smooth and Seal, then try Platinum Silkening Mist ...... both are great for anti-frizz and making hair shiny, however, I find that the Platinum Silkening Mist gives me some hold as well as well as I love the fruity smell.

If you have dry frizzy hair, I would give this a try. I have been using Aquage Beyond Shine, ran out, and bought this on a whim. Just used this today. Washed and blew dry, then sprayed on hair, and flat ironed.
It left my hair silky smooth, soft and great shine. So far I am loving this. It is a bit pricey, but I think a little bit will go along way. So far, this is a keeper.

Love this mist!

I use it nearly every day as a finishing spray. I first apply my Fekkai Styling Spray. Then I put on the Kenra Mist. The mist gives shine that the Fekkai does not do.

My hair is a traditional mousy brown left to its own devices. I need to amp it up to make it attractive mousy brown. I use shine enhancers regularly because my hair has never had a natural gloss.

Once every 10 days, I use Fekkai Salon Glaze. That helps a lot. The Kenra mist is my other big shine producer.

I am very picky about fragrances and generally need unscented products to pair with my own choice of perfumes.

The scent of Kenra mist is fine. It is pronounced and heavy, my son complained about it on picture day when I did his hair. However, it dissipates quickly. I wouldn't avoid the product because of the fragrance.

If your hair is already to die for, you can pass on Kenra mist. If you are like me and need all the life you can get, give it a try.

Did I get a bad bottle of this stuff? In no way would anyone find this scent "delectable" or, um "yummy". I don't care for the smell of this at all, luckily it does go away quickly.
Now, for the effectiveness of this product, I'm just not feeling the fabulousness. Someone below said it pefectly: it gives you a bit of shine. Yeah, a bit of shine, and unless I'm using this wrong, that's all I'm getting. My hair already HAS a bit of shine. Doesn't everybody's?
Here's how I'm using it: spraying in on just styled hair, either flat-ironed, blow-dried or curled. I am trying it before hair spray some times, and after hairspray sometimes. Some times I use a little, sometimes a lot. Sometimes a medium amount. Oye.
Any tips would be appreciated if I'm not using it correctly.
