I agree that this is very frosty but since i hate to toss new things I've played around with this gloss and made it work by mixing it with other glosses in the red family. Used on it's on it has a zinc look to it but mixed with something else (even a creamy lipstick) it can be transformed into some lovely colors.

Horrible and overrated! Extremely opaque and thick. And I hate the smell of their lip products.

Agree with reviewer below! It is so frosty! It is really not appropriate for the current trend in lipstick/lipgloss, which is non-frosty. Because I feel this color is not wearable for me, I will not repurchase.

way too frosty for my liking. its whitish shimmer pink similar to the 90s lipcolors looks ridiculous on my NC40 skinstone. no way. returned for nyx beige.

I LOVE the French Kiss color. I've been looking for a pink lip gloss with gold undertones to it, and this is exactly what I wanted. As with NYX lip glosses, I really like the formula and the pigmentation, and for the price, it's excellent quality.
This color really brightens up my face. I just love it. I actually bought it specifically to bring on vacation with me to wear to the pools and beaches just to stay fresh looking. Such a great, bright color.

Now I know why so many people on youtube love NYX glosses. As everyone has said this is a frosty pink. It works for an everyday lipgloss. I love it with my neutral eyeshadows or my smokey looks. The best part is that it is not sticky and this color last a long time. Today I put it on in the am and didn't have to reapply until after lunch. I plan on buying more colors.

I'm from Germany and I took notice of NYX cosmetics when I searched for cruelty-free make up brands. You can not buy it here yet, but there are already many german women buying NYX in the internet. Now I know why! Here's my review of my first nyx mega shine gloss in French Kiss:
I just love it! :) I bought it some days ago on eBay (for just 1,20 euros) and because of the incredible cheap price I'd never expect good quality... but it's amazing. I applied French Kiss 3-4 hours ago and the color is still there - NO fading! I think most of it will go off while eating, but however I'm surprised by this staying power.
I love the color, on me it looks like a nude color with a bit rose and peachy in it... it looks shimmering but not frosty - so it also suits VERY pale people.. I know what I'm talking about, I'm so pale that people on the street often ask me if I'm ill!
Furthermore I love the scent.. it reminds me on cherry lemonade.. you could find it too sweet, but I just love it! And the packaging is simple, but cute.. especially the little loop on the top :)
I think it's the best gloss I've ever had; I became a huge NYX-fan in just a few hours and I will definitely buy many more colors. I'm baffled that a gloss for less than 2 euros knocks out my other make-up products like Urban Decay, Too Faced or the highly praised MAC, which I really don't like.. Each to his own, but I was always disappointed by mac. NYX is cheap, but incredible staying power - better than some expensive brands - and cruelty-free.. What more could I want? :) 5 points and if I could, I'd give100 to it!

this is my favorite lipgloss.! its not too pink...its kind of a pinkish nude color with frost which i love. it's not too thick or thin i think its just right and smells delicious. its pretty comparable to mac but much cheaper. =]

French Kiss is a neutral medium pink. It's frosty, but I love frosts like this, it's not overwhelming. Very natural looking color, lovely, not too bold.

I really like this lip gloss. It is a pretty frosty pink color. If I put on too much then it looks too frosty. When I put on just a little bit then it looks awesome. A little goes a long way. It actually says on quite a while. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell. The smell goes away after you apply.

If you like the colour "Beige" from this same lipgloss line, French Kiss is it's frosty cousin. I have both and Beige is a flat colour without frost, and French Kiss is frosted. Same med-light pink shade.

I just received this yesterday... so far, I'm loving the color- perfect pink for my NC 30-35 coloring. Not garish at all even though it is very frosty. I scored this at a two because of the frostiness & scent.
Scent reminds me of a red-headed slut shot from a cheap bar (I've had a few too many of these)... but for some reason I have a feeling this will not bother the great majority of people! hahaha...
I always love NYX packing and the price! I will keep this in my arsenal for day to day wear and save my expensive MAC and Dior for those special nights out.

Frosty pink color. I love pink, but I don't like frosty. I rarely ever use this color....still a high quality lip gloss, just not the color I reach for.

My first NYX gloss! Woo :) It's such a pretty color, and I love that you get such great quality for cheap. Who says you need expensive products to look hot? ;) This one does the trick!

This lipgloss is what re-newed my faith in lipglosses. I hated how every gloss I ever got would turn out sheer with minimal color payoff. I tried this and was instantly in love with how pigmented it is! It's a very nice, very frosty soft pink color. It's builadable too so you can tone down the frostiness by applying less with a lighter hand. I know some people hate the smell of the NYX glosses but I really like it! It's a sweet, almost cherry smell.
Packaging is basic for a gloss, but I like the doe-foot applicator; makes it easier to apply.
Love, love, LOVE it...already have re-purchased even though my first one hasn't run out!

This is a pretty color, the staying power is not bad, and I got this in a Buy two get one free deal in Ulta, the only thing I don't like is the smell :(

I don't understand the glowing reviews for this product - when applied over my lips, it's way too frosty and silvery for my tastes. I can't even apply this over lipstick because it makes it look way too frosty. Will probably not wear this again. The 3 rating is for the quality of Nyx lipglosses and the price.

I'm in love with this lip gloss and it was actually my first NYX lip gloss it smells and tastes good and I would totally recommend it.

On the arm swatch over there French Kiss is the first of the glosses. As I said in another review for NYX Sweet Heart, I don't care for the large doe foot that the MegaShine glosses have (it's longer & angled) but I like the feel of them. When I wiped it off on a white tissue, it looks like a coral-ish pink, more pink than coral imo but, if you're cool toned like me, it might be too orange. I like it but I don't put a lot of it on either. It is more pigmented, not quite opaque but close. It's not matte & not too frosty. I barely notice the frost until I wipe it off or it wears down & leaves the shimmer behind. Big points for not being a sticky mess. I wish it lasted longer; I have to reapply every few hours. All 3 of the mega shine glosses that I've gotten have the same sweet tart candy scent but not the flavor, I don't notice an actual flavor with these.
Pros: Feels moisturizing, not sticky/tacky, price
Cons: odd doe foot, doesn't last long on me, a bit too orange for me

I've been looking for a dupe for MAC's Cremesheen, & NYX may have the gloss for me. This is a nice pinkish color and it has subtle silvery shimmer to it.
I gave this 4 lippies because I'm really not much of a fan of the scent which reminds me of Cherry-flavored lollipops (as a kid, this was definitely not my favorite flavor & I always passed it down to my brother). Another reason is that lighting is a big factor; it looked like an extremely frosted light-fuchsia in my room & a very flattering pink in my bathroom light.
