I don't know why it is that this product is SO nice, but it is! I'm in my late '50s and have been trying to stick with ONE GOOD brand. It's difficult really. I like a richer night cream and chose this one from the PCA line. It's VERY soothing and moisturizing. It contains some Vit C so it's slightly firming but not a great deal. Still a wonderful wonderful night moisturizer IMO.

This is the most moisturizing product I have ever used, and I have tried all the major brands, includng La Roche Posay, Vichy, Avene, Clarins, Drugstore brands, etc. The ingredients are very natural and no parabens. You can actually understand what you are putting on your skin, rather than a bunch of chemicals.This is best reserved for VERY DRY skin or for the winter time if you live somewhere cold like Chicago. If you live in Florida I doubt you would need this, but I guess you never know! Very calming and soothing, with antioxidants. The smell is a bit strange but I like how it does not contain any added fragrances. It is not an offensive smell but it is just a bit different. A little goes a long way and the price is reasonable considering.

Very rich nice cream. More intense of the PCA moisturizers. The silkcoat balm (phaze 20) has actual hydrolized silk in it to soften the skin. Don't use if you have oily skin. This product works wonders for mature or dry skin.

I really like PCA products. This moisturizer in particular is fantastic. I am acne-prone and combo but this did not make me breakout. It is very moisturizing... texture is similar to Paula's Choice hydration treatment but more elegant I think. Really like this.
