I have tried multiple eye creams. This is my all time favorite. I feel as though it keeps me moisturized throughout the day. I would love to use it regularly but it is a little high priced. So I only buy it occasionally when I feel I can spend over $100 for eye cream.

I love the Obagi line and the Obagi eye treatment is the icing on the cake! It restores collegen to the eyes and feels wonderful. I originally purchased from my doctor, but just entered a givaway for one at http://www.facebook.com/pages/SkincareImports/101444123230431#!/pages/SkincareImports/101444123230431?sk=app_28134323652

I have been using Elastidem eye cream as part of the Obagi Medical protocol for 6 weeks. I am under the care of a dermatologist. I purchased the entire program for just under $700. I have easily wasted 5 times that amount on stuff like Mercier, Clarins, Chanel, etc. etc.
Elastiderm somes as a cream or as a gel. I am using the cream twice a day. It is NOT a moisturizer. It is not a collagen product. It is meant to restore elasticity to your eye area and I am impressed with the results. My eye appears much much younger than my 65 years. The results started showing after about two weeks.
I think this will be part of my routine going forward. I recently bought the decolletage system which includes an elastiderm for the neck and upper chest.
Someone suggested Obagi to me several years ago. I wish I had done this then. I would have saved a lot of money with better results.

I paid $100 but cost is justified because you only need a little and it lasts a long time. I wouldnt say this product is a miracle but the best eye cream I have used to date. It goes on very soft and smooth. If I skip a day, I miss it so that tells me something. After 4 months, I can tell a slight difference, I dont look as tired.

This cream is exceptional for me. I asked my dermatologist what would someone my age (40) use on their face if money was no object. She said the Elastiderm Eye cream, but used on the face. That is what she uses as well. I bought it, even thought it was pricey, and decided I wasn't going to waste my time or money on a product that doesn't work, so I used it on exactly half my face. My plan was to use it for a month but after two weeks I could see a significant difference on the side that I'd been treating. I continued to use my regular, at that time, serum (Origins Perfect World White Tea) on the other side. I honestly think it's so hard to tell if a product is working if you put it all over your face since sometimes the results are subtle, or your memory fails you as to how wrinkled you were before! Anyway, I pat/rub this on gently at night, using only two or three fingertips (so i don't waste any getting it absorbed into my palms or fingers) and this product lasts exactly over 3 months every time. (last jar i purchased the first week of June and I use it every night. I still have a good two weeks left in the jar). I don't particularly enjoy typing up reviews but since I saw some of the poor results, I had to put my two cents in!

I am in constant search for an eye cream that works. I have tried many different brands including La Mer, Strivectin-D, Sisley, etc. This one was given to me for free when I bought 6 hydra-facial treatments from my aesthetician. I have been getting a few small lines below the inner corners of my eyes because I always rub my eyes. This product works very well to smooth out these lines, leaving the skin in the area smooth and soft.
Aside from the bad packaging (I think a tube would be more user-friendly), this cream really surprises me! I have only been using for 2 weeks, so hopefully, the results will last until the jar is finished.

Tried both the day (gel) and night (cream) products. I didn't like the day gel at all. It's impossible to put on little enough for it not to show. Plus, the pump gets that dried glob in it every time you use it, and you can't apply it, so you're wasting product every time you go to use it.
I did, however, really like the night cream. I'm seeing some decent results with my crow's feet, though can't see a big difference in my undereye area.
Found decent prices for both on Ebay. Would re-purchase the night cream. Planning to give away the day gel.

I've bought this in both the day and night formula based on recommendations by estheticians, and it was a waste of money. I was assured I would see thicker skin, fewer lines, etc (I'm getting that crepey under-eye skin), but after using two full containers of it, I see no difference whatsoever. The only people who seem to go nuts for it are those who sell it or those who buy into the hype. The ingredient list never seemed very convincing to me (what the heck is a bi-mineral complex and how is it supposed to work?) but I tried it anyway. It's exactly as effective as all the other products that are "clinically proven" and "guaranteed" -- in other words, it's NOT.

This cream does not hydrate your eye area what so ever. You need a cream to put on top of the cream. I think this product has caused more fine lines then it has helped. Save your money on this one.

This product is a joke. Both the gel and the cream provide no actual results like the study claims. It is a sorry disappointment because it is a bit costly for eye cream or gel. Moreover, the pump for eye gel is a pain. How can you ever get all the product out? One last problem I have with this product is the smell: it smells like plastic. Yuck. Save your hard-earned money. I never recommend this product to clients and when I asked the company about their clinical study, they were evasive about how they measured the collagen and elastin. It could be the rep just didn't really understand the study.

Disappointment. Obagi makes great skincare which really works, but this was not a winner. Did not hydrate or help eliminate any crows feet whatsoever. I got it from my esthetician who raved about it. I think she was just trying to make a sale. Expensive too!

I have used the Elastiderm Day Eye Gel and Night Eye Cream for about two months. The Day Eye Gel is now gone. I will not buy it again. I don't think it did anything to reduce my fine lines. It felt cool and thin going on, but there was no improvement in the wrinkles or elasticity. I like the Elastiderm Eye Night cream better, but for the price, I won't buy again once it is gone. I had high hopes for this product since other Obagi products worked well for me.

I have just used this product for about 4 days and had to stop because it burned the skin all around my eyes. My eyelids and under my eyes look all cracked. yeow! I do love that MUA has divided the reviews by age!

Elastiderm is the result of a 7 year thesis study on elastin production that Dr. Obagi purchase from a med student. It is not exactly a hydrating eye treatment but it has active ingredients that have had years of study and has been clinically proven to work. If you are looking for a miracle cream, you will never find one...no such thing. There are good products with much research (Elastiderm), Botox, surgery, genetics and lifestyle.

I use the day gel and I like how it feels for day use. It is light and sinks into the skin quickly and does hydrate well without messing with my eye makeup. I usually draw on cats eyes with wingtips at the ends with liquid liner and you know the wrong eye cream can make it smear all day long.
I don't have any lines around my eyes and I have been using this for a year and haven't seen any lines appear so for now its a good thing.

I was desperate to find a product that would help visibly reduce the crows feet and fine lines under my eyes. My doctor told me that the only way to get rid of those was BOTOX or laser surgery. Well, I'm 30. I dont feel that I am ready for that stuff. Plus, I dont have the money. Despite that fact, I spent $90 on elastiderm. Is it a good eye cream? Good enough. Did I see results? Not that I can tell. Worth $$$? NO! Still looking for the miracle cream. Gonna try NIA 24 Strenthening Skin Repair Cream. Hope I'll be more impressed with this $90 product!

Kind of bummed that I spent $90 on this. It was from my dermatologist, and it kind of has that cetaphil quality to it - like, it might not irritate my skin, but I'm not feeling like it does anything for it, either. Sometimes when I use it under my eyes, I get a little residue left over even after washing my face and it makes it tough to apply concealer.

I can't say anything about the long-term benefits of this product because I only used it once. It balled up and rolled off when I tried to apply my eye makeup and under eye concealer, so I won't be using it again. However, the texture upon application was nice, and I love the airless pump dispenser.
