There isn't much to say here that hasn't already been said. It IS a bargain for it's amount to it's price and it's protection is impressive. It dries semi matte and fairly quickly so the finish is acceptable on my oily skin. But it has a bit of a whitening affect that is "bluer" than my own complexion, it is a cool white but not pearlescent. I would imagine yellow toned powder (I'm looking at T.LeClerc in 'banane' from leguidesante) would be sufficient in counteracting this and the shine I get anyway so it's not really a deterrent for me, and really for this protection I'll put up with it. For the most part this sunscreen is actually pretty undetectable on the skin, for me it's my daily protection. It contains Tinosorb M (a hybrid chemical and physical block) which covers both UVA and UVB ranges and avobenzone and Octocrelyne to stabilize the avobenzone - all in all this sunscreen protects from the longest UVA rays and is one of the most protective sunscreens on the market. It also contains vitamin E for antioxidant protection, and xylitol which I have heard helps regulate sebum production. I've also seen this ingredient in Bioderma Sebium H2O micellar solution. It's in a 400 ml, gun trigger style spray bottle (but also comes in 200 ml push down spray) and is liquidy and comes out in a jet as others have mentioned but whats perfect is that it comes out in 1/8 tsp. doses. So exactly two squirts of the gun style trigger and you have everything measured out. Also, I am clog PRONE and this doesn't break me out or clog me. The only thing I don't like is the fragrance. When I first got it, I didn't even notice it but soon I wondered why I was smelling this chemical mango-y bug spray smell. But for this protection, I can put up with that. Actually, finding out that they make an spf 50 PPD 35 family sized spray with no scent means I'll probably switch over to that one. This is absolutely holy grail.

huh, maybe they reformulated this. but its not shiny at all. in fact its very matte, although it is whitening. more whitening than the SPF 50+ Lait or Fluide, but dries much, much quicker and more water resistant. I think it has alcohol in it. Its thin consistency, obviously, because its in a spray bottle. Kind of like a cross between shiseido SPF 55 lotion and bioderma SPF 50+ max lait. One thing though - its fragranced. smells like bathroom cleaner or floor wax or bad perfume or maybe even bug spray. that doesnt bother me, but I know some people would hate it. the bottle calls it "sunshine fragrance". ha. But hey, for a PPD of 27 I will put up with it. I bought it for my upcoming vacation in Jamaica, and I will report back next month how it performed. Got it from leguidesante.com for something like $27 + shipping (from france). I like the spray bottle. It doesnt mist, obviously, more like squirts out in a "jet". hehe. I love that its a 400ml size which is 4x larger than the Lait but for the same price. good deal. If I like it as much as I think I do, this may just replace all my other sunscreens. Will definitely update later.

This makes for an economical euro sunscreen...has TIn M (no Tin S) and Avo for UVA protection. It is very light lotion (sort of oily feel to it) but dries semi-matte. However, I found it pretty whitening. I don't think it works well for face but for body it is excellent. With me and my 2 kids, especially in the summer months we go thru sunscreen bottles like crazy. This is the most cost-effective way when using euro sunscreens.
Too bad Leguidesante doesn't sell it any more and it is pretty expensive from the other sites (tubotica or beautyplatinium).

This is such a great bargain for a high-PPD sunscreen because it is a 400ml size spray. I find it similar to the MAX Lait and the Fluid, i.e. fairly shiny and a bit whitening- maybe even a bit more shiny. I mix a bit of the tinted cream into it. It has more of the annoying 'peeling' effect than the above though. Sometimes this is really noticeable.
